!love + slap commands

I’ve been setting up the majority of my commands on Streamlabs but, I haven’t had luck to figure out what the !love and !slap commands are and whatever I try, doesn’t work. Does anyone know what the commands are or is it not possible with Streamlabs?

The "technical disaster" strikes again: How the hell do I CREATE clips on Twitch? (The "Clips" tab on the homepage doesn't have a create button!) 💀

Quick update from your favorite walking technical disaster: I actually managed to add info panels and sub badges... and guys, don't even ask how, I died a thousand times.

Converting images over and over again on shady websites just to make them perfectly square was my personal final boss. I literally almost fell asleep sitting up in front of my PC yesterday because I need hours for every single basic task. My brain is officially mush. 😅🫠🫠🫠

But on top of that, I FINALLY got a second monitor! (Though my proper chair is making me wait until Tuesday, so I'm still suffering).

But hold onto your seats, a medical miracle happened: Twitch finally saved a broadcast yesterday! My first three streams vanished completely into thin air because genius me obviously didn't know you have to manually activate "store past broadcasts" in the settings. Anyway, yesterday some actually funny moments and a few kills happened where I even surprised myself. I would love to turn them into clips now—both regular ones for Twitch and vertical ones for TikTok/Shorts.

But here is the thing: When you are on your Twitch homepage, there is a tab that says "Clips", but it only SHOWS existing clips. You can't actually create any clips under that tab. It's just a completely empty void with no button anywhere.

Out of pure desperation, I tried to screen-record the Twitch player on my monitor, but the result looks like a pixelated flipbook from the 90s😭🤣 The quality is absolute garbage.

And before the pros here directly come at me: Yes, I am going to switch to OBS eventually. I swear! But right now, I am just glad I got Streamlabs running without blowing a fuse in my apartment. If I have to relearn a whole new software right now, I'm going to have a mental breakdown and set the PC on fire.

If anyone can give me a fool-proof guide from A to Z on how to actually make proper clips from scratch (please explain it like I'm 5 and have never seen a computer before), I would be eternally grateful!

Feel free to check out the panels and badges I sacrificed my life for: lazombiee

How does the 'frequency' of alert variations work?

I'm about to migrate around 100 of my customers from StreamElements to StreamLabs given that Elements is closing down. I make custom alerts for Twitch streamers. The Alert Box (in the StreamLabs website, i'm not using SLOBS) is giving me a bit of a headache.

For example, I have 4 'bits' alerts and I want them to pop at a rate of 25%. No conditions attached, when someone drops bits in a twitch stream it should play either of the 4 alerts at an equal chance.

I've set up 1 main bits alert and 3 variations. The frequency options are Very Rarely, Rarely, As Default, Frequently and Very Frequently.

I'm not sure whether to set the variations to As 'Default' or 'Frequently' and there's no way to test this without using one of my customers as a guinea pig. On StreamElements I could just enter 25% and when testing it would take frequency into account whereas StreamLabs does not when testing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! I'm not a streamer myself so trying to wrap my head around how Labs works still before I do the great migration.

My recording (output) looks kinda low fps, despite of recording in 160fps

As the title says, I'm having a problem where I somehow noticed that my recordings doesn't look smooth the way it used to be.

Just a quick story, I used to record in 60fps and the output looks undeniably smooth. Here's my specs: i9-10900k, 2060 super & 32GB of ddr4 RAM (this was before). Now I bought a new PC (ultra 9 285k, 5080 & 64GB of ddr5 RAM) and I bring my fps recording up to 160fps, but the output doesn't look like a high fps recording.

Things that I've done to verify that the problem is on streamlabs:

- when I check the properties of the recorded video, it actually shows the exact fps I've set on streamlabs (160).

- regardless of what fps I set streamlabs to record (60/120/160), the output seems to look always the same.

- I tried using different media to watch the video, it's all the same that it looks like a low fps recording. Importing the recorded video inside a video editing software, still looks like it's a low fps video.

At this point, I'm convinced that maybe there's something wrong with my streamlabs settings, but I couldn't pin point where it went wrong. I only experience this problem with my new PC.

Idk if this has something to do with my problem, but I'm using integer FPS value since it lets me record more than 60 fps. Additional info is my CPU, GPU and RAM usage has a lot of headroom when recording, so I personally think it's not struggling to record the game I'm playing. I have a feeling that the output itself is actually high fps, but the recording is what made it look like laggy. My game runs in 500-600 fps. It's also more noticable in the video when I flick.

Streamlabs console - unless issues

I feel like I’m loosing my mind. I just wanted to test Streamlabs console for a friend as I’m a bit better with tech so I can help them set it up.
I linked my Twitch to his xbox, and my Twitch to Streamlabs console with a free subscription. I do up the little sample overlays on a laptop and go live from the Xbox.

I get an email saying I need a subscription to go live, so on my phone I put in my card details for the free trial. I then try again to go live.

My live is displaying nothing but the ‘Streamlabs Console’ logo - none of the alerts, chat box, borders etc are working or displaying. Next to me the laptop with Streamlabs open says ‘offline’. I restart stream a few times to the same thing happening, I make a few adjustments on the PC and nothing.

I refresh the website and suddenly there’s no Twitch or Streamlabs ID or subscription active. I put in my email again for the Streamlabs ID and use my Paypal this time for the subscription, but it says my Twitch is connected to another account? I think maybe when I put through the subscription on my phone the email redirected me to the desktop/PC Streamlabs website and connected my Twitch to that. Fair enough, I open the main Streamlabs website and have an account. It says I’m on a free subscription - despite putting my card details in - so I can’t cancel it or remove my card details. I disconnect my Twitch there and remove Streamlabs authorisation on Twitch. I then jump back on the console website to try and connect Twitch to it, and again says another user is already connected. Everytime. And on Twitch, everytime I try, Streamlabs pops up as being connected again. So I disconnect it and the cycle continues. I try and delete my Streamlabs PC/desktop account, only to be told it doesn’t remove card details and subscriptions, and I have to wait for it to be deleted. Throughout this all, I was testing streaming, and again - no overlays but the ‘Streamlabs console’ was showing up on stream and the Streamlabs console website was saying ‘offline’.

I try submitting a support ticket and they send me an automatic email on deleting my account..

Does anyone know what the issue may be? Is the duplicate accounts even a thing? I’d like to rectify the issue or at least learn where it went wrong to help my friend, but I’m also pretty pressed about having 2 subscriptions I can’t cancel to something I can’t even use.

Capping game at 120fps to stream

Hey all, so at the moment (or rather since I’ve been streaming) I’ve had this issue where if my in game fps is higher than 120fps it’ll cause my stream to been choppy. Sometimes even lower like 90fps if I’m playing intensive games like bf6

I stream at 1080p 60 with a good build and internet connection, is there anyway to play at higher fps and not have this chop?

I’m 27 but a total "Tech Grandma" 👵 Help with CS2 setup?

Honestly, I’m a technical disaster. I’m 27, but I have absolutely zero clue about how any of this works. Yesterday I literally had to search for the USB port on my computer just to charge my phone... I’m not even kidding. 🤦‍♀️

I want to start streaming CS2 but I don’t know anything. I’m using my phone as a webcam right now and it’s sitting on a pile of books so the camera is high enough. My "gaming chair" is just a wooden chair from my dining table.

I have this cute cloud ceiling (had it for ages!) but as you can see in the pic, the rest of the room is a bit of a mess right now. My stream looks so empty compared to others. I see people with these cool glowing borders and stuff on their screen, but I don’t even know what you call that or where to click in Streamlabs. Is it an overlay? A homepage? I have no idea.

Can someone please give me some tips? But please explain it like I’m five because I really don’t understand the technical terms. I just want it to look a bit more "pro" and less like a total mess.

This is my channel if you want to see how lost I am (I only have 2 followers so far lol):

Issues with Primary Chat

I stream to both YouTube and TikTok using Streamlabs, but I’ve been running into an issue where my TikTok chat will not display in the chat box even when set as the primary chat.

The YouTube chat works just fine, but that’s the only chat it displays. I have a much larger follower count on TikTok compared to YouTube, so I would prefer to show that chat in the box since it’s more active. I would appreciate any help on this matter.

Simple question. Will I need to stream like that? Is there a way that doesn't require the "dual output" mode to be enabled? I only have interest in streaming on YouTube and Twitch, which would both be horizontal. Or should I just try and find a way to do that through OBS? I should also mention that I want to keep a merged chatbox, so that is one of the main appeals of Streamlabs OBS for me.
