Question about Denver show
Is it like doors at 7 show at 8 or is it doors at 8 and probably show at like 9?
"Imagine this" one of Streetlight's best
Now this is the kind of melody that will haunt my in my sleep.
An all time great, man I hope they play this on tour.
Looking for friends for any of the 3 November shows in Texas
Botar or Streetlight Show
Help me decide!
I’m struggling to decide if I should go see Streetlight in Toronto in September or BOTAR in Montreal in October. I can’t go to both and my flights (4+ hours) are basically the same cost for each one, so that’s not really a contributing factor.
I’ve seen Streetlight 7 times and BOTAR once (Chicago in 2019).
I’m leaning towards BOTAR because the Chicago show was the best concert experience of my life but I’m worried they won’t play the new songs as much and I really want to hear the new music so maybe the Toronto show would be better.
What would you do?
Two Free Tickets for ABQ Show
Bought two tickets as soon as the show was announced and can't make it after all. If anyone will actually use them (please don't be an asshole and re-sell) I'd be more than happy to forward you my ticket email.

Would You Be Impressed
Imagine This
A Better Place a Better Time
We Will Fall Together
A Moment of Silence
Watch it Crash
Here's To Life
Too bad we didn't get to see any of the new new songs. Can't wait to see the BOTAR show on October!
It’s been 13 years, but I finally hung hung up my poster from Streetlight’s “final” show
I got this in November 2013 at their so-called “final” performance. My dad still gives me crap that he drove me from Maryland to New Jersey for this special show, and yet they resumed touring within a year.
I was super stoked when I got this poster, but I never got around to hanging it and it has been rolled up for 13 years. I was 17 when I got it and I am about to turn 30. It was at my parents’ house for years, and then in a storage unit with most of my belongings for a while. Recently I moved and cleared out my old storage unit and rediscovered it. I hadn’t really thought about that show for a long time (except for the occasional jab from my Dad), so it was kinda nice to revisit those memories.
Extra ticket to 7/12 show in LA The Wiltern in
Free to another SM fan who can meet me there on time. Its a GA Balcony ticket. I got a 2 pack and idk anyone else who'd want to go.
No obligation to hang out with me, but I am a chill 34yo guy LA local, have been a SM fan since I was 16 and havent seen them live in over 12 years. A lot of their music helped me through those angry depressed teenage years; Somewhere in the Between is one of my favorites. I used to play trombone all up through college and was pretty serious about it, even used to message Nadav and Mike Soprano asking for tips back in the day.
I may go grab a steak dinner beforehand at Taylors Steakhouse and you'd be welcome to join in that too, just throwing this out there.
The Upcoming Tour Should be a Keasbey Nights Album Play With The New EP as the Encore.
This is a great idea because:
I like it.
It celebrates the band in a unique and special way.
Imagine this / Hell
Been obsessed with imagine this. So this isnt a criticism or accusation of copying or anything (chord progressions cant be copy written anyway, this melody is way different, and there are way more changes).
But did anyone notice on the verse, the "call back"?
i i i V
V V V i
The 3 1, 3 1 change of root to fifth gives the song a similar rhythmic momentum and the same harmonic guardrails. And I find the horns doing similar things in the instrumentals because of that
I fucking love hell (their cover and the original). And I love this song. So i guess I learned im a sucker for the swing of that chord progression. Just thought it was a cool little tidbit to point out, and I feel like Tomas is certainly aware of it
I added the trumpet part back to the breakdown in Imagine This
I fell in love with the 20250624 mix version of Imagine This, and while I think the Halfway version is better in almost every way, it seems Tomas removed the trumpet part during the breakdown section from 5:20 to 5:42 and replaced it with a second trombone part. The new trombone part sounds great, but every time I listen to that section I feel something is missing and the trumpet part plays in my head anyway, so I went ahead and added it back in myself.
I pulled the trumpet stem from the 20250624 mix version using MVSEP and did my best to mix it into the Halfway version of the song. It's not perfect but it will do for now. Hopefully Tomas adds the trumpet part back into the final mix!
Note that the only part of the song I changed was 5:20 - 5:42, and it was a purely additive change of just the trumpet part. Everything else about the song was completely untouched from the Halfway Version.
I have uploaded a lossless FLAC version as well as an MP3, both of which can be found here: https://archive.org/details/imagine-this-halfway-version-with-trumpet-breakdown
Let me know if you think anything about that trumpet part should be adjusted at all!
