I've been seeing more IPTV providers advertising "8K quality" lately, especially for sports and movies.

But I'm curious how many people are actually watching content in true 8K.

My setup:

• Fast fiber internet
• 4K TV
• Stable IPTV service
• Most channels look great in 4K

What I'm wondering:

• Is anyone in the USA actually streaming real 8K content?
• Can you notice a big difference between high-bitrate 4K and so-called 8K streams?
• Which sports look best in 4K right now (NFL, NBA, MLB, UFC)?
• Is 8K mostly marketing, or are there real channels available?

From my experience, a stable high-quality 4K stream is better than an "8K" stream that buffers every few minutes.
