just bought this artwork from the market near my new place 😭

Recently had to move away from my balcony pigeons Pasquale, Helen, Susie, Pingu, Stefani and Pidgey P and my heart is broken. I miss them so much. This made me giggle. Artist is Loopsie Daisie from Melbourne AU.

They're thinking about it..

They didn't stay but they did come back a few times. I explained there's better places and then they left.

Maybe they'll try again tomorrow

Serious Question and CAUTION: This video shows the dad bullying one of the babies out of the nest. Its only been 8 days since birth. The baby is on the ground directly under the nest. I know fledglings should generally be left alone, but its really a week too early. Should I put him back?

Bird built a nest in my half dead succulent pot and used the dead dried up stems from the pot to build it.

We put up two toy dinosaur models to repel mourning doves who had previously built a nest on our back porch flood lights. They took matters into their own wings.

My hotel room turned out to be shared.

This hotel room I stayed in had a balcony. Woke up to a lot of pigeon noises in the early morning. Turns out I was sharing with pigeons, and the noise was one bird was flying in and out bringing leaves and sticks.

Indoors was all mine though.
