Local Realtor - AMA

Hey everyone! I have been a local Realtor in the area for about 2.5 years and lived here for 5 years.

Wanted to do a Ask Me Anything to see what people are wondering about the current housing market in Summerville! Ask me about neighborhoods, areas, prices, data, what helps a homes value, and anything else house related! I am so curious to see what people have questions on in the area! Please no bashing areas/realtors/etc - this is just an educational post to help people who may be moving to the area 😄

This is not a post to get clients, advertise my services or anything but rather a way to gather information that I can use to help educate clients and potential clients in the future!

Millie Lewis. Legit?

My teenage daughter has been asked by Millie Lewis to join. I’ve seen 50/50 reviews. Tell me everything. She worked with a reputable company in another state as a child.

Lost wallet

Hello all! I went to Tractor supply this morning to get my two chocolate labs their first shots. When I left, I must have dropped my little black wallet containing my Arizona drivers license, my South Carolina concealed weapons permit and so many other contact cards. I went back today asking all the stores if they had anyone turn it in. Has anyone seen it or picked it up? it sucks having to replace my lost items.

Please help? I’ve been through so much trauma in the past year, this is just one more thing thats not welcomed. Anyhelp would be appreciate.

Leslie

PS: credit cards are maxed out and I’m dead broke, so im not too worried about that, but I just really need my contact cards. Im in Summerville now and not in Arizona. Thank goodness!

Primary Care Doctor Recommendation?

I’m looking for a new primary care doctor for boring, once a year wellness checks and occasional cold/flu/sinus whathaveyous. I’ve been seeing Dr. Hank Berger and he’s fine, but I’m not thrilled with him. The care is fine but he typically doesn’t even pretend like he’s going to take time with you. He stays standing, goes through his questions and is out the door in (I timed it last year) 4 minutes.

I’m hoping for recommendations on doctors yall really like- just need to stay on the Dorchester Rd side of 26! Thanks in advance!

He works at The Cliffs At Glassy and he has four possible routes he could’ve taken. His family is looking for him and this is very unusual behavior from him. The number to contact is (864) 898-5500 .

UPDATE !!!

Intro

I’ll forgo the obligatory request for information most first posters are seeking (FWIW I’ve posted my share of answers over on r/RapidCity.) and just say “Hello”. I plan to spend the next 6-9 months in the area and will likely be posting here on occasion.

I am based in South Dakota but work remotely for a hospital system here in the SE. I’m thinking of permanently relocating but wanted to try living in the area first.

Big supporter of the arts, already have an audition lined up for choir. Enjoy live music by local musicians and intend to support/be part of the local community theater.

I have a couple friends in the Charlotte area, none here yet. Fell in love w/the low country back around the turn of the century, was able to see the harbor through the old bridges and really enjoyed watching the ravenell bridge get built via webcam.

Anywho, thats me, i promise i won’t add all that much traffic to the roads and i’ll do my share to attract more than my fair share of mosquitoes.
