I've been working on a wrist conversion kit since the leak dropped. I went and bought the watch , to make sure of the fitments , now i want this to be as consumer friendly as possible , im gonna be using high quality materials so its not some junk you throw away after 2 wears . im very open to suggestions , and let me know what you all think ! i'll also be opening a page on tt and instagram the username will be : octamodkits ! cant wait to hear your opinion on it , and what color ways should i consider !

I’m working on the gauge swatch for the Step by Step sweater by Florence. The pattern calls for worsted weight but the yarn I really want to use is DK.

The swatch wants 16x20 stitches. I got 17x21. I know I can increase my needle size but I worry this will make the sweater “holey”.

Is there a way to make this work given some math to do a larger size or should I just look for a DK sweater pattern?

Bought this at a Swatch store at the Olympic Village in Atlanta about 2 hours before the bomb went off. It’s been worn probably less than 5 times. Sitting in my sock drawer for 40 years.

Just had a legitimately heartbreaking conversation with the manager of my local store while snapping up this Omega x Swatch Full Moon Mission to Moonphase. They are one of the shops that isn’t allowed to sell the Royal Pop at all and she says it has really messed things up for them. Not just in terms of sales and making their monthly numbers (versus stores that will still see that bump from selling THEIR former inventory), but also in how the workers were treated during and after the chaos that erupted. She feels terrible for the actual enthusiasts and collectors who now don’t have a store in their city to rely on for the collab and it was clear that the whole situation has impacted her, as well as her team, which has to deal with angry customers. On top of that, they still have a security guard on duty for the time being.
So let’s remember that these employees aren’t to blame for the mess, that they are dealing with their own stuff and try to show some kindness if ya shop there again.

I'm a teacher and it's Finals Week so I got bored and made a Royal Clock lol

Hey guys, I’m new here. I wanted to ask for your thoughts, but also share some information I found about the drop in NYC, specifically the Soho location.

I spent 2 days trying to get a watch for my father because he really loved the white one. At least here in Soho, they actually started selling them on May 18, not May 16. One of the employees came outside right when the store opened and told everyone they didn’t have any stock, so I got really disappointed and left the line. Later, though, I found videos on TikTok showing that they actually did have some in stock.

I’m not gonna lie, that really pissed me off. So today I went back again before opening, and there were already around 40 people waiting outside. The same guy came out around 11 AM and again said they had no stock. A lot of people outside called him out because he had apparently said the exact same thing the day before.

When the store finally opened, I managed to go inside and speak directly with the manager. He told me they currently don’t have any stock and that yesterday was basically a miscommunication because they weren’t expecting to receive inventory. He also said he doesn’t know when the next restock will happen, but he thinks it could be in one or two months.

So what do you guys think? Should I try going again tomorrow just in case? I also saw a TikTok saying there was a restock today at the Times Square location.
