I am worried about meeting new people. My job/lifestyle makes it hard to trust new people bc of my “status”. Not as cool as it sounds but it’s hard to meet girls who aren’t in it for the fame if you know what I mean. I need things to do and find ways to meet more trustworthy people in Clearwater. Pls help!!

idk what it is but it seems like everyone all of the sudden think eating at these restaurants are the pinnacle of culinary experience. its good and inenjoy it but damn its not that great.

everyone i talk to talks about these places like there gods goft to the world..

I am seeking information on whether Clearwater has improved its LGBTQ friendly vibes? I really wanna come back (some cute condos I saw for sale) but I worry about my safety of my husband and I. Last time we were here we were almost attacked for holding hands walking to the park.

Also I know they had one gay bar but it's closed down now.

Bought a house in the Clearwater area about eight months ago and the inspector flagged the electrical panel during the purchase, we knew going in it was something we'd need to deal with eventually and eventually has now arrived.

Panel work feels like the kind of job where who you hire matters a lot more than it does for something minor. If anyone in Pinellas or the wider Tampa Bay area has had panel work done recently and came away feeling like the contractor was competent and honest about what the job actually needed, interested in someone who does it right.

I recently got out of an engagement and moved to Tampa 5 years ago with her. I have friends here but they are all friends with my ex too. I want to make new friends but I don’t really know where to start as I was a homebody. Any suggestions on how to start ? I technically live in westchase.

You need help, and to take a serious look at your own behavior. Tailgating is bad enough when you are not towing a boat, but tailgating me with my children in the car during morning rush hour so closely that I cannot see your headlights while you are towing a boat when I'm keeping up with the speed of traffic is just idiotic. I tapped on the break because we were approaching a red light and you almost lost control, then you got closer so that you could flick me off. I started breaking, gently, and you had to swerve to keep from hitting me because you were too close. Then you start throwing things at the windows my kids are sitting at and get out of your truck AT THE RED LIGHT WE ALL HAD TO STOP FOR to try and start a fight with me??? Yelling about how you're going to kick my a** for breaking when your towing a boat!!! THEN BACK OFF! Seriously, were you drunk? My children are both scared to get in the car now, because you have anger issues. GET HELP! If you know who this guy is, talk to him. If he does this regularly, I fear that someone is going to shoot him, if he doesn't die in a wreck first. Small black truck towing a teal and white fishing boat.

My wife a floridian her whole life is finally dragging me back to her state after 21 yrs of marriage. I love visiting but loved my NJ state.

Her dad lives in Westchase now but she grew up in Clearwater (no she is not a scientologist)

anyways I am debating on Trinity in Pasco county. it’s close to the in-laws but far that they can still drive home in the evening.

how is the area around the New Port Richey / Odesssa area?

key needs: a solid public school system for the kids. parks, town youth activities. My kids are very active in our town soccer and volleyball league. Do the towns have clubs to join for kids to play (ages 8 and age 12)

also safety. I want a safe town that is family oriented. I don’t give a shit about politics. So fly your MAGA, fly your LGBT, fly your underwear for all I care. Just be cool

I also don’t want to drive far for basic grocery needs.

I’ve been in Tampa a bit and I keep noticing it’s pretty easy to go out and meet people, but way harder to actually turn that into real friendships.

Like you’ll have a good night, talk to people, say you should hang again… and then it just never really happens.

Not sure if that’s just how adult life is everywhere or if it’s more noticeable here.

Curious if other people feel the same or if I’m just overthinking it….
