Steel Fury or Steel Armor
I'm considering getting one of these games to get my tank sim fixed. I've done my research and I know that they are both about different eras. From what I've gathered, here are the pros and cons of either.
Steel Fury
- With the STA mod, you get a lot of vehicles to play with
- very cheap price
- With its age, its very hard to get it running. Takes a lot of effort to install the mods.
Steel Armor
- Has campaigns that are rarely covered in other games.
- newer, so better graphics and better UI (subjective, most people think the UI still sucks)
- Only 2 playable tanks, but they are very well modeled.
- more expensive, but cheaper than modern games.
Did I miss out on anything? Which would you recommend? Does Steel Armor have a STA equivalent mod that allows you to play more vehicles?
I am looking for something to fill the void while I wait for Tank Squad to get fixed, and GHPC to get its next update.
