I have been using trv900 with immersion rc for awhile.
Big problem for me was that this thing turns off by itself after 5 min. I was recording violin sonata and camera turned off everybody was ashamed of me.
I was looking for solution but couldn't find it anywhere. Everybody was talking bout some "turn off something in the settings but i dont remember what etc all that bs from "camcorders subreddit" nerds 🤓. There is no option for this in the settings.

So the solution in simple, just place this locker the way it placed on the photo. I can use my trv900 tapeless now 24/7 turned on with no problems. Hope it helps anyone. Good day and sharp angles for yall

If u put tape without recording - it turns off after 5 min
If u dont put the tape - it turns off even faster
If u place the locker - it stays turned on until the battery drain

been seeing a lot of people say you you’ll need an aftermarket av cable mine came with a red coiled one & seems to be working fine! is this new?

Specifically this weird Sony connector to an 1/8th inch for a MiniDVR setup. For those who cant see, the Sony cable has green, black, white, red, yellow, blue and three uninsulated copper wires. I would assume I’d just match the colors and tape off the unused wires. Would I also tape off the uninsulated copper as well? I’ve only found like one video guide online and it’s on TikTok of rather dubious truth, and it’s not even for this connector but a composite cable.

Also, this cable is for a Sony DCR-DVD610, the Handycam that takes mini-dvr disks.

Hey guys I wanna say first off these are not manufactured quality but if your cable does stop working at any point or time if you send it back ill fix it and ship it back to you for free. Anyways Ive been debating doing this for a while just because the market for these is actually a joke. But dm me a request on ig and I can make u a cable. Heres one I just did for someone on ig. I’ve got a Panasonic nv ds55

I captured this video from an old camcorder using a video capture card connected to my phone via cables. The recording shows all the camcorder’s on-screen display.

I want to remove everything except the date at the bottom. Is there any software that can do this reliably?

I know the OSD is burned into the recorded video, so I’m not expecting a perfect result, but maybe some method based on masking, interpolation, or even AI inpainting?
