I think they are very similar.
I apologize for the digression from TDUSC, but it seems this is used in other games as well.

So The Playerbase Is At Fault for Nacon's And KT's Bad Decision Making!!

Just watched this video from Alex (please watch from the 7min mark) and the reason why the solar pass increase to 1000 is due to the fiancial trouble with Nacon and the increase helps cover costs.
This really infuriates me and just an insult to the people who play this game, first of the state of the game is soley down to KT and there decision making, nobody told them to create a online only game and remove all the TDU features from past games, nobody told them to bring microtransactions into the game to help cover costs due to there stupud decision making, nobody expected 2 years into the game cycle to still have bad optimisation on consoles.
After all the push back and effort to get past features into SC from the past 4 seasons and this is the best they could come up with as a thank you to the playerbase.
The reason the game still exists is because of the game being on PS Plus and the small playerbase actively playing the game, trying to push the remaining players away in the hopes to recoupe as much money as possible through heavy microtransactions and increaze costs is a tragedy.
To all the people who mentioned that Nacon and KT should have never got the rights to this game are 100% spot on, the writing on the wall was there day 1 and even before release but being hopeful things would change and the game would be in the right direction in 2026 was a stretch so far.
To me this ranks as the worst racing/driving game to be ever released console, we have had stinkers but this absolutely tops it....

Why can't we bring the off map ibiza bug back? 😭
Super niche... ik, but if we aren't gonna get a Ibiza expansion....just undo the patch. The stuff is still there and loaded up regardless lol I miss offroading in these areas. It was a nice play ground.

When playing taxi, the passenger kept making a fuss about opening and closing the window, so I bought a car without windows.
Can't you open the window yourself for once?!
And to top it off, when I open the window using the shortcut I assigned to the "+" key, it displays a message telling me to use the dial menu instead.
Don't mess with me! Do you want me to send you to the graveyard?!
So, I bought a car without windows.
They stopped telling us to open the windows, but the customers are too close for comfort.
When I bought this car, I thought it would save me from having passengers ask me to open or close the windows—but it turned out to be a single-seater.

I found a graveyard, so I investigated it.
I used AI to analyze the tombstone inscription.
I apologize if there are any errors.
(Left side) Meaning: A joint grave for the deceased, stern father, Huang Weilin.
(Right side) Meaning: The grave of Chen Peiqing, the mother of the Huang family.
In short, it means "a joint grave where the couple of the Wong family—the father and mother—rest together."
The person in the first photo is different from the person in the first grave, but the epitaphs are exactly the same.
Large characters in the center: "Grave of Beloved Daughter [Name]"
This is likely a misidentification by the AI; I was unable to decipher it.
Meaning: In other words, "the grave of Ms. Liang Yue—the mother of the Yang family—and her wife (female partner)."
That’s what the AI is spouting, but I think it is reasonable to interpret it as the grave of Lady Liang Yue—the mother of the Yang family.
Gold characters written vertically: "Huaren Xianqiao Fenchang" (Cemetery for Early Chinese Overseas Settlers). Meaning: The name of a communal cemetery or burial ground dedicated to early Chinese overseas settlers (Huaqiao) who left their homelands for places like North America or Southeast Asia and passed away there.
The characters themselves are essentially words—specifically, the name of the facility—that ought to be inscribed on a gatepost at the cemetery entrance or on a communal monument, rather than being dedicated to a specific individual.
Google AI was used for the analysis.
Bold text indicates my own opinion.
Incidentally, the AI suspects that the person in the photo of the gravestone might be a member of the development staff.

I tried estimating the year based on the in-game calendar. Meme
My post was removed with the message "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters," so I am reposting it.
Of course, this is entirely a far-fetched rationalization of my own making.
Regarding the calendar I found in the game, the year is unknown, but I deduced that April 1st was a Saturday.
The latest car in this game is the Lamborghini Temerario. It was unveiled in 2024, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2026.
The nearest year from 2026 onwards in which April 1st falls on a Saturday is 2028.
Well, how about setting it in a near-future Hong Kong?
This room has the atmosphere of a bygone era.
A CRT TV and a stereo radio-cassette recorder—they remind me of my student days forty years ago.
How about adopting this as the cheapest house in the game?

I have an obsession with tdusc
I think is just me, but when I’m driving I got inspired and take some pics haha, I know the game doesn’t look nice graphically talking for the majority, but for me it looks nice and fun, love the environment and I know that exist other games but tdu has something that keeps me interested, maybe are the details I don’t know, let me know if u feel the same btw I think kt shouldn’t put tdusc on gaming Xbox cloud cuz now I have an obsession playing the game lmao.

It looks like housing is being implemented in TDUSC, so I tried estimating the cost of a home based on Hong Kong real estate and car prices.
This is just my irresponsible prediction.
- HKD value of the Huayra Roadster in 2020
A total of 100 Pagani Huayra Roadsters were produced worldwide between 2017 and 2020.
New car/market price as of 2020: Approximately 2.6 million USD(1USD=7.75HKD)=20,150,000 HKD
20,150,000 HKD (2020 actual vehicle price) ÷ 13,500,000 SC (in-game price) = 1 SC ≈ approx. 1.49 HKD
- Consistency with gasoline prices
Price on the sign: Premium gasoline at "20.80 HKD." Historical data from Hong Kong confirms that gasoline prices hovered around the "20 HKD per liter" mark precisely between 2018 and 2020.
- Property prices at the in-game real estate agency
Property prices range from HKD 3.65 million to HKD 17 million. (When I asked AI, the opinion was that the rates reflected the market conditions of a few years ago.)

Hi, a thought on Season 7
Hi, I follow the game's news on Steam and saw that the multiplayer hub, known as ORC, is being delayed. From what I gather, it was the most important update of Season 7, so without it, the season is going to feel... I don't know, empty?
As we know from SteamDB, and it’s likely the same on consoles, the game hits a player peak whenever a new season launches. Players would have jumped in and finally been able to race in multiplayer, an experience many would have had for the first time, given how hard it is to find matches under the current system. That would have been great, but it’s not happening. This means the player base will likely shrink even further, which seems a bit concerning...
In your opinion, as players, will the housing feature (which is still a ways off) really fill such a huge void?

This game’s calling me
Hi guys, i am passing my driver licence, (in France so i have many hours to learn and i am passing it in few days) and i discovered a passion, that i always knew, but idk why i had to start driving to unlock it lol…. This is ✨CARS✨, especially car Games, and i’m playing a lot FH6 and Motorfest, but as i saw, this game, about simulation, is the best ever created. The Gameplay, the cars sounds, the driving simulation is amazing to. I found the game at 6€ today, and I have to take in my savings so, its just 10€ I know but is it worth ?
