Hi, it’ll be my first TTB concert and seeing my all time favorite guitarist live as well! I’m from Brazil and they’ve only been here one time and I couldn’t make it and this Crossroads lineup is crazy for me… with Julian Lage, Tommy Emmanuel, John Mayer, Marcus King! Super excited!!!
Tedeschi Trucks Band and Lukas Nelson wrapped a run of joint tour dates on Sunday in San Diego, where the country music scion joined the 12-piece blues battalion for Neil Young‘s “Helpless.”
Do we know what order they're playing in for these shows with Alabama Shakes? Are they alternating nights as closers? Nothing against the Shakes, but I feel like their music would be a bit of a buzzkill after TTB.

Can someone explain why a band with such musicianship always gives Kebbi 5 minutes to just make manic noise on stage? I just don’t get it. Like what’s the point. Dude is super talented but I’ve been to a number of shows (including tonight’s at Berkeley) where he’s given a spot - an interlude of sorts - where he just blows hard without any musicianship. It’s just noise. So painful.
Holy crap y’all. First off, what a freaking show last night. That Anyday, and Everyday People absolutely ripped.
Also Mountain Jam??? What?? They really just snuck that in. Absolutely incredible band live.
When they brought out what I think was a sitar player, did anyone else hear them tease These Walls? Would’ve been a crazy deep cut to get that live….
Anyways, off to both nights at Wolf Trap next 🎸

Lots of funk/soul/gospel . . . and there usually is I guess . . . but I feel like I got lucky hearing some of my favorites . . .

The Tedeschi Trucks Band have resumed its extensive summer tour and is now making its way across the Golden State. On Wednesday the group appeared at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. Last night, TTB was at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Then, it's on to Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego on Sunday, followed by an appearance at the Hollywood Bowl on Monday.

hey everyone, we just saw the band in Stateline (amazing show) and I bought two shirts for my husband who is a huge fan. unfortunately one of the was a dark blue blue tye dyed shirt that stained the other tan shirt. I’m looking to see if anyone is going to the Berkeley show that might be willing to buy me a replacement shirt (XL). I will of course pay for the shirt and shipping costs to send it to me. it was an anniversary gift for my husband and I feel bad it was ruined.
I’m probably going to get hate for this, but honestly, I don’t really care anymore.
I listen to and watch TTB because I want to hear Susan’s angelic voice and Derek—one of the greatest guitar players to ever pick up a guitar. Obviously, every musician on that stage is insanely talented.
That said, I should not be sitting through an eight-minute saxophone solo that sounds like you made me run 10 miles, drink a fifth of liquor, and then handed me a saxophone.
I have no problem with the other band members singing or getting their moment every once in a while. But lately, it feels like that’s 70% of the show. I came to see Tedeschi Trucks Band, and somehow Susan and Derek have started feeling like guest appearances at their own concert.
I’m not trying to argue with anyone, and everyone’s entitled to their opinion. I’m only saying it because I feel like nobody else will.
At some point, it feels like the rest of the band formed a union and collectively bargained for equal stage time.

First Concert at Hayden Homes this weekend - confused about seating. I purchased a reserved seating ticket near the front for the Tedeschi Trucks Band show this weekend. Didn't think anything of it since it designates a row and seat number. Just got an email from Ticketmaster that implies there are no chairs and you have rent? Very confused.
Hoping someone local sees this and can help clarify if I need to rent a chair too? Or is the email just confusing and wrong?
I love seeing the art associated with each city but beyond red rocks I haven’t seen any posts about posters are they not doing it this tour? I really wanted to see what the bend and Seattle posters would look like since that’s my general area . I’m not able to attend any of their shows this year sadly but I have nugs!
