Everyone is so rude, close-minded, and they downvote everything/everyone that isn't conventionally attractive! I always leave a negative teen sub, find a new one, and everyone is the exact same as the one I left. Teen subreddits are supposed to be for all teens, not just the ones society deems normal! Those are some of the most mean-spirited, NSFW-addled subreddits I've been on and I hate how I can't find just one that's inclusive, kind, and open-minded. I know it's Reddit so I shouldn't expect much, but I'm in a lot of subs that are exactly how I described. Though, they're not exclusive to teens. It feels like they're all the same, terrible subreddit and it really shows that there is no place on Earth where a teen can be a teen without being ridiculed for being a teen. Even the freaking pickle sub is better than any teen sub.

Hello! I am 16/17 years old of age, but my parents still have not gave me any deodorant, shavers or anything. They must think i am a late bloomer, which it might appear like.

But I defenitly don't want to ask them. Did you guys get that stuff given to you by your parents? Should I wait, or just buy it secretly? My parents hate secrets though, they could be mad if i already done something so I am confused.

Now that Ive got your attention, long story short my SIL is turning 13 soon. Her mother and sister are both very tom boyish so she doesn’t get much support from them in terms of her becoming a teen girl, now that she has herself started becoming less of a kid and wants to be girly her sister and I have decided to help her along

Last year for her birthday I got her her first makeup kit that she had been begging for, an appropriate proper perfume and we took her clothes shopping so that she could explore her fashion sense instead of what her parents would pick for her.

With her birthday coming up and her officially being in her teens I am looking for gift ideas that a teen girl actually would want given and can help her find herself or make this journey easier. Her sister and I are at a loss for ideas.

So I know this girl in real life and we talked a lot lately on social media, but now I feel like she wants us to be more than friends, more than best friends, basically one of the 3: she thinks I want her, she wants me, she thinks I want her and she also wants me. Now I don't want to be in a relationship not because she's bad or anything but I believe I'm too young and immature for this + I rarely have a long talk with any of my male friends in school so I feel like I have a communication problem.

Me (14M) and this girl (a few months younger) used to attend the same school last year, and we've been talking so much the previous 2 months on Instagram, although I love talking with her; I don't want to be in a relationship of any means because I'm sure I'm not ready for that.

Anyways she agreed and I told her: "ladies go first" because neither of us wanted to ask first.

She asked: "how much percent you want me" I took a longtime trying to not answer but she forced me to give a number, I didn't want to say less than 50% so I was initially going to say 50% but I found a clever way (I think) to answer without being mean: I said 67% (stupid meme I don't want to explain it bc it doesn't have a meaning), she double texted smile face emoji and said your turn.

I asked the same question and she said: 30%

I was both shocked and reliefed, but she kept on sending me rls reels.

I had multiple ppl crushing on me at the same year multiple times which I'm not gonna lie I believe it's only because of my looks that I often get complimented for (or ppl talk to me nicer than others bc of it).

Many ppl I talk to (including her) think I'm gay simply because of the fact that I say things like: "look there, don't you think he's cute" to boys of all ages which I really think is normal.
