Would you want Tengrism to gain official recognition in your country? I’m not talking about making it the only official religion/belief, just an official status. I don’t think there would be any harm in that. In fact, I think it could encourage more research into Tengrism.

Would you want Tengrism to gain official recognition in your country? Azerbaijan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan republic of Turkish Cyprus, and the autonomous Turkic republics&regions, such as Gagauzia, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Bashkortostan, Altai Republic, Khakassia, Sakha , Tuva, and South Azerbaijan (Turkic populated area), East Turkestan etc.

What do you think r/Tiele folks?

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with preserving and embracing the beliefs of our ancestors either. It wouldn’t affect most people anyway. Nationalists, secular people, and non-believers/atheists would probably be more likely to embrace it. It would also give those who are already interested (or Tengrist already) in Tengrism an opportunity to adopt it.
