My Gen 3 GSD S10 mods and upgrades

I've seen versions of a couple of these here before, so here's my take on them:

Clubhouse straight bar: My oldest outgrew his child seat, so (inspired by another user here) I added a straight bar secured with 4" bungee balls. It's tight and barely moves. Handlebar tape on top looks good and is comfier for little hands.

Bungee cargo net on the Transportuer Rack: I debated a Euro crate but went with the net, and it's perfect. It holds backpacks, helmets, boxes, pretty much anything.

Waist pack storage: Holds sunscreen, wipes, diapers, and snacks. It also fits the battery when I remove it to lock up for long stretches and use it as a shoulder sling.

Hiplok DX1000 mount: Took a while to find a perfect mounting spot for this lock. I tried the OEM Hiplok mount and storing it in the bottom of the Storm Box, but this setup is a perfect fit. No rattling, and it stays out of the way of both me and my passenger.

Bosch vertical phone mount: I don't ride with a display on, but it's an easy spot for my phone instead of my pocket or bag. I also don’t have to fuss with the KIOX display being stolen or having to remove it every ride. It charges my phone too if I’m running low battery.

Handlebar mirrors: Probably my favorite upgrade for riding in the city. I glance at them every few seconds and only turn my head for big lane changes.

Battery in cold

So I started a new commute and I won't be able to store the bike indoors for the 8 hours of my workday. On my HSD, I'm left about 3-4 miles in warm weather at the end oof the day. Now, that the colder weather is setting in (today is the first colder day), I'll see how it will change the range. I'm wondering if I bring up the battery to the (warm) office, will it have a meaningful effect on the range or using it in the cold is the biggest factor? I'm asking as I'm hoping to avoid bringing the charger to work/buying a new charger.

Tern GSD, Clubhouse 4, Yepp 1 Maxi EasyFit - how to use these together?

Hi all, newbie Tern GSD owner from Norwich in the UK. Learnt lots from this community already when deciding which cargo bike to go for, and now have an owner question. Picked up the bike this week and had the extension child seat bar fitted on the Clubhouse 4, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to put the Yepp 1 Maxi EasyFit seat on to the back.

If I slide it all the way to the back of the extension bar as I believe I’m meant to, there’s no window to put the seat in as the Clubhouse 4 blocks it. There’s another window that I could use slightly in front, but then the seat doesn’t feel secure and none of the extra space added by the extension bar is being used. Am I just trying a setup that isn’t legit? What could I swap in here? My 6 year old rides right behind me on a seat pad and she’s fine but my 3 year old needs a child seat.

Thanks for your advice. Can share photos when the sun is up again tomorrow in case there’s something obvious I’m missing.
