My opinions about clans (if you want to join some, read)

creds to some post in terri reddit. I will be rating top 5 clans based on my experience, i've been in all of them, in all discords and i will express my own opinion about these so if you want to hear my yap you should read this.

  1. OG

The best clan atm, tho if you want to either learn something or be carry in the gane with them, don't join. They have the most randoms which just suck and the players are also without any gamesense and they often fuck up badly. They can't teach you anything, just how to become their donobots in contests + everyone is muted in the vc. I would not recommend to join this clan.

  1. OMEN

A clan founded recently, former TOP 1 with a good playerbase and good tutorials. They grind 24/7 but some of their players are bad as hell, not talking about their toxicity towards others in-game chat, some good VC leading. Contest-based clan, they have dedicated grinders which i suppose don't have a life 🤧. Active in most of the timezones due to being international clan and not a national one. They have something like auto-claim and challenges + they do some events. Would partially recommend.

  1. PL

The land of Poles, tho they're international (people playing from all of the world) so they know English very good. Former TOP 1 also. When I joined there, i've been warmly welcomed, and automatically high staff member wanted to teach me in DM's (His name is Barti or something like that, later i found out that he is one of the best players in the whole game 🫡). They grind 24/7 also and they have auto-claims. They have very good personal trainers and tutorials, their VC leading is very good, almost everyone unmuted and the coordination/skill ratio is just unreal. They play in various timezones. Their leader is an Admin of the game (Maths Empire) and their mod (barti) is Admin Assistant there and they do very good job to fight with the cheaters also. Would really recommend joining PL.

  1. FR

A French National Clan, which has very stupid playerbase. They almost always give win to the leading team with fucking up your game most likely. Can't understand anything because they speak French only and they barely understand English. Most of these Frenchies are unmuted in the VC, which is a pro, but the cons are leading there massively. If you play against them, expect getting heavily buttfucked despite losing the match in the end-game. Would not recommend.

  1. CORGI

Streamer based clan. If there's a stream, the horde of 60 CORGI's is swarming thru the contests. Otherwise, they rely on sidegames mostly. They have a discord (like all of these clans) but it is pretty much inactive. There was a CORGI domination earlier but it had to come to an end. Overall, they are pretty decent at the game, they are hosting some VC's sometimes, but when you are playing with the stream, expect to have 4 thousand land and just donate to the frontline. 50/50 on joining them.

Feel free to rely on my opinions or stay tagless and independent :P

Can I get a breakdown of the mechanics? Neutral Land defensive value, maximum troop based on size and so on

Hey I’m instrested in deeper understanding the game.

  1. How to calc the 0,0% interest max troops based on size
  2. what is the end of cycle bonus based on.
  3. what is the tick based income based on - troops or land?
  4. why do some openings dictate attacks on 7th and 9th tick, while some say to make the attack end closest to end of cycle as possible
  5. what defensive value does neutral land hold? Like, how many troops does it take to conquer 100 pixels of neutral land
  6. what is defensive multiplier for players, as in if I attack a 100.00k player with 100.000k of my troops, how many of his survive?
  7. what percentage of land does one have to loose to be considered defeated by the game?

Seen players do this so I’m also joining in

OG: wouldn’t recommend unless you’re just going for wins and gold. It’s just the same things repeated over and over again, create the back line and be a dono bot to one of the actually decent good player. It’s a pretty no skill strat if you ask me but it works and everyone sees it at the top so everyone wants to join it.
Omen: would recommend if you’re starting out and want to get better, not so much if you’re all so social. Our vcs are usually dead quite unless someone is leading. This is a contest focused clan, meaning we try to win as many contest as possible and there are dedicated guides, tutors/teachers and more to help you get better. Ask for a teacher via pinging them and they’ll usually take you on, send in the replay and they’ll watch it and tell you what you did wrong and what you did right. If you’re one of the more reliable players or have proven to do well, or are doing good in the game, you will get donated to.
Pl: would suggest. I have a weird relationship with PL, it’s like omen, but, worse in some ways. Not as many people, and players aren’t as good. They do talk more though and whilst you can tell majority of them aren’t English but polish, it’s better than being in a vc with 11 other muted people and a bot (tts) pretty friendly, but yea.
Cat: eh, idk how to really feel about cat, they’re kinda like corgi rn with focused on side games but.. idk, I can’t say anything really
Corgi: ehhhh, dead community, reliant on side games and well, no one really talks. Its tutorials and guides are good, but that’s about all it has now besides for when corgi circus starts streaming
Fr: wouldn’t recommend. English isn’t exactly their thing and I’ve seen them blow games that they should have easily won. But eh, if you’re a nationalist, might be just for you.
CN: unless you’re Chinese, this isn’t it for you tbh. They’re constantly promoting their QQ or WeChat, and lowk I might join in some day just to find out what they’re doing. Idk if they have anything like guides or tutorials, it’s likely but yk. Their players are solid, I’ve seen a few who actually knows how to play really well and consistently win.
EU: yikes.. it’s dead. I’m not too sure what happened to it or how it’s still up here but the clan isn’t it anymore.
Kilr: eh, I’m not in their server or anything so I can’t say. They’re some people from there who are good whilst other who I just want to like- do things to bc they sold a won game before but who knows

I am in omen and used to be in corgi, and yes, the OG slander will continue no matter what. But if you wanna pop in with your own thoughts go ahead.

Yapping about clans - TOP 5 as of this post

This is my personal opinion, don’t judge

  1. OG
This massive clan, the one with so many points, can only be achieved because of a massive playerbase. The OG domination is going strong well into 2026 with many randoms still choosing to represent them. Every time you play them, expect either an easy pushover against randoms or a long-fought battle against their better players. This clan is the subject of many controversies, like Solo deciding to delete tribunals in the tt.io main server. Good clan but your peak is over.

  2. OMEN
Dedicated contest grinders, they’ve done such a good job grinding they’re in the top 2, even managing to reach 1st and keep it for a day or so. They’re active in most timezones due to a good spread of the playerbase, and they have the most top 10 players, having CPT (#1), isaac newton (#2), CCP (#5), Su (#6), and newpeople (#9). This is THE contest-heavy clan if you want to join one. They’re still somewhat new and will reach higher heights, maybe even displacing OG?

  3. CN
I don’t really get to play against this clan so I may be biased. Playing during afternoon/night UTC+8 means that I don’t know what they’re doing. The odd CN person I see is likely to be on the level of a moderately strong player. Their discord isn’t that active and a lot is on WeChat/Line (I forgot), I am NOT going there.

  4. PL
Ah Poland, the land of the Po. The current head admin of tt.io (Maths Empire) is their leader. I can’t read half their text, because half of it is in Polish. Gameplay wise I’ve had the luck to play with them on Discord, good VCLs, would recommend joining.

  5. CORGI
Absolutely crushing in contests when there’s a stream. Otherwise sidegame players mostly. When I see them in contests, they’re either in stream or in joint grinds, rarely grinding on their own. I’ve seen some guys from OMEN (isaac, CCP) play for them too, coincidence? I think not.

Uhhh try guessing my clan in the comments :3
I don’t know clan history, don’t ask me shrug

Give me some advice so I don't get captured or killed quickly. I'm just new to this game, and I don't want to be a professional player right away. I just want to gain some experience!

Built a territory-conquest running app. I need more players to make it real

I built Wibto. You run outside, your GPS path claims real map territory. Others can steal it back.

The catch: it gets way more fun with more players. Right now the map is mostly empty.

The beauty of it: you don't even have to "go for a run." Just open the app when you're walking to work, heading to the store, anywhere. Territory comes to you.

Just don't forget to check back. Someone might be taking your streets right now.

First week: 50+ users. That alone got me excited. Would love to see you on the map.

Also just updated the UI. What do you think of the new design?

Do you stand a chance as a mobile player?

Ive been playing on and off for a few year and its always been on mobile. I have a decent understanding of the game but playing on mobile I am feeling huge disadvantages. Is it my skill level or does mobile just suck?

Best Comeback of all time?

Both of the people who were winning in that game left before the game was over, so I just ended up beating them both, but it's (technically) still a multiplayer win.

Started in Asia, btw, then got kicked off, and boated over to Japan, then just road it out till the end. Both photos are from the same game BTW. Guess it pays to be annoying and just island hop, because you never know what will happen.
