1. It’s a time capsule of the early days of YouTube: ignoring how weird it is to see everyone be young, you can see the enthusiasm everyone seems to have with the idea that they can make videos about what they’re passionate about and how a lot of them seemed to do it for the love of the game.

2. The road trip episodes were the best: Honestly any episode where they hit the road are pretty great. From their first trip to Maggest to what happens in Memphis it felt like the shenanigans that always happened when you went on a road trip with your buds.

3. Melvor stepping out from behind the camera was one of the best things they did: Since Billy and Jay and Dodongo were all such out their individuals, Melvor was the perfect person to be a foil to their personalities.

4. The show really starts to hit its stride end of Season 2: Season 1 and most of Season 2 are entertaining but the Vegas trip in Season 2 is where I think they found their footing to make the show what it was.

5. Season 5 is probably the best: So many great moments from the Memphis trip, to the beer for a PSX guy, Chris getting the Sega CD and scaring Eric in the basement. Lots of great stuff happened in this season.

if anyone is interested I created a blu-ray with all the Toy Chaser Episodes. I put the ISO on internet archive. Just use ImgBurn to burn it to a 50 gig BDR. It's nothing fancy. Has a main menu with music and episode selection. Not sure what was up with the last guy that was attempting to upload those Game Chaser blu-ray ISO's but I assume he was trolling or trying to scam people from what I read from people in the group. I am in the process of uploading Adventures in Game Chasing Blu-ray and the bonus disc as well and will list the link here when its done. Hope you guys enjoy

I live on the east coast, I’ve met Jay a few times at RWX & TMG. Unfortunately I never met Billy. I’m flying out in his honor for Retropalooza. I’ll be flying out a few days early so I can pretend to be a Game Chaser. Planning a road trip to AK for the ole Game Room Trading Post trip, and Retro Video Games store. Gonna take highway 30, seems to be their route. I also plan on stopping at the old Blockbuster where they were worked. Trader’s Village is on the list. Maybe try to find Jar-Nintendo old location. Anyone wanna give any ideas or suggestions on spots to hit/find? I don’t go to TX often, I wanna hit all The Game Chaser spots and make this trip special!

Stop being such gullible fucks. Stop believing some rando 2 day old account is going to show up and give you what you paid for. Especially when they have some bullshit story about "I don't have a blu-ray reader and it'll take 2 weeks for one to arrive."

I saw your post on the game chasers fan page. Why don't you release it? You're a confirmed person who has a copy.

If you're worried about the legal repercussions, you can post it anonymously. Heck you could make a new reddit account and pretend you're a well wisher who saw the communities plight.

to those waiting for the isos, here is an update. the dvd burner I bought on ebay didn't work and I don't have the money for another one. i found one that will work with my computer but it costs almost $200. so it may be a few months before i have the money saved back up. they will be coming though as soon as i save up some more money.

After being on the Facebook group and Reddit for a while, trying to stay positive, I find it unbelievable how much hate there is. Yes, I paid money for something I didn’t receive, but I still tried to show respect. Here’s someone who genuinely wanted to help the community by releasing the Season 5 Blu-ray we’ve all been waiting for, and people are treating them like they’re worthless. It’s like flies on a pile of shit… sad, man.

He seemed to really enjoy the Toy Chasers content and I thought he was also the other person who actually edited the main episodes outside of Billy. Unless I'm remembering wrong. But does he have a YouTube channel or does Melvor only show up on Shady Jays channel?

The burner is coming in by next week , so as long as you guys can wait a little more it will be in your hands. Everything will come in due time , i will also be putting the avgn bfg box set online and the gaming historian blu ray
