Just finished playing for the first time.. and omg
No game, movie, book, or any form of media has ever made me cry before, until now.
After recently playing through Ico and Shadow of the colossus for the first time naturally I went on to play the last guardian. I had heard quite a bit of criticism about the game but I also didn’t read too much about the game before playing as I didn’t want anything to get spoiled, but because of the criticism I heard I really didn’t know what to expect.
Lo and behold, this game did not disappoint me one bit. Despite the minor (in my opinion) flaws, this game is so beautiful. This has easily become one of my favourite games of all time. As I already stated, I’ve never cried over a game or movie or anything of the like until now. This was the first game to make cry, I really had to sit and process my emotions after it ended, and tbh I still haven’t processed them fully. What a beautiful experience man.

Remade the Mirror Shield in film-level 3D quality until for a short / pitch film I was going to make until Sony’s lawyers hit me with a C&D 😑
Faithfully recreated in *~excruciating detail~* the famed Mirror Shield from my unfinished short film/pitch for Sony PlayStation’s The Last Guardian.
Something I always tell people in the industry is: “No matter how much money you throw at artists or directors to work on an IP, no amount of money can buy fiery passion coupled with high-level skills. Yet 3 of the multiple films and shows I’ve worked on have been Oscar-Nominated for best visual effects! That’s what I bring to the table, which I sincerely doubt any other filmmaker will bring to this brand.

mirror png attempt
mediocre attempt to make an image of the mirror from the last guardian. I am not especially good at using krita. i just thought it was strange that we didnt have a single good image of the thing. youre free to use this image as you like.
