ugh catfights is actually such a good album now that i've had a full listen i appreciate it a lot more... ESPECIALLY hanging on a star. the chorus & the bridge it's so good the little rise up everything about it is perfect; the late 2000s/early 2010s vibe, the guitar strums, INDESCRIBABLE. catfights deserves its flowers and so does sugababes 3.0 like so underrated

also to insert a medium hot take: amelle's voice style suits red dress way better than mutya's and thats not me saying amelle's voice is better but i think that her voice fits the vibe & style of red dress more than mutya's esp considering mutya said she didn't like red dress too much anyway LMAO

if amelle berrabah had a bus company she should call it the berrabus and it goes around as many roundabouts as possible on its routes + travels as far as possible so when you've got off you realise that you've been on the bus for more than a million miles x

She better not forget about this gem on the rerelease next year! (there better be a 20th anniversary rerelease) Love the part from 02:10 with the vocal effects

in light of william orbits passing (r.i.p.), i got reminded of the girls' one collab with him... & its a damn shame it got nuked off of youtube a while ago + isnt on streaming from what i know cuz i think its prob one of their best songs, a true "hidden gem" at that
