I’m looking for a place near Thrissur to watch the Brazil vs Norway FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match tonight. I’d love to watch it with a crowd instead of at home.
Does anyone know of any public screenings, sports cafés, or venues showing the match?

I know Inox and Palaxy are screening the match, but from the ticket bookings it doesn’t look like they’ll have much of a crowd.

I'm near thrissur town like in 2km radius and like close to railway too Jio's data speed is very trash and i can't even do any calls tht uses data like WhatsApp etc Some times it shows 5g 3 or 4 bars but still no data.

I've reported multiple times to customer care and same thing they'll say they will 'boost' or sent tecnicians to tower straight bs imo Do y'all experience the same?

Seriously, the Swaraj Round is a beautiful mess. I love the vibe, but it’s an 18th-century layout trying to handle thousands of modern cars, and walking there has basically become an extreme sport. The hub-and-spoke model means every single vehicle is forced into the center just to cross town, and it's completely choking the city.

I was daydreaming about how we could actually fix this without ruining our culture. Imagine if we just banned private cars from the inner circle entirely. We could turn it into a massive, shaded pedestrian promenade with a free electric tram loop running continuously. For Pooram, we could use modular street lights and benches that unbolt and clear out in 48 hours so the elephants and lines of sight have total freedom. To make it work, we’d just need a proper high-speed outer bypass road to intercept the heavy traffic, and underground parking lots at the edge of the core so people can park and seamlessly walk or tram in.

Realistically, a massive overhaul like this—including fixing our terrible sewage and water drainage issues—would cost roughly ₹15,000 Crore. But honestly, it feels like the state government just treats Thrissur like a cash cow. They love using our heritage and Pooram for tourism clout, but when it comes to actual infrastructure funding, we get absolute breadcrumbs while other cities get mega-projects. It’s just frustrating watching a city with so much potential get left behind in a permanent traffic jam.

Hello guys, I'm originally from Fort Kochi but ente Amma Thrissur aan work cheyyunne. She lives near Westfort Hospital, Poonkunnam. I came here yesterday and will be here for a week.
