Thrift Store Haul. $1.80/per
There were a handful of other ties I'll go back for in a week or two. But these were the ones I had to grab with this week's budget.

Even the correct terms to search would help, having trouble finding anything with the same colour & fabric combo
Picnic and fireworks with Yankees. Matlock represented.
Just a tie from Amazon that came with a pocket square. Half Windsor knott.
Found this snag on my knitted tie. Any advice on how I can repair it?
Shirt is Charles Tyrwhitt and tie is Ted Baker. Yes, I was going for red, white, and blue. Mostly.
Got two new ties secondhand recently and one of them really caught my eye because of its texture and I have no idea what to call it. Its 100% silk but lowkey feels like wool and it kinda reminds me of a knit but it isnt. Id love to hear what yall think.
In other news, I got my first block stripe tie (see last pic). The colour is a bit off due to lighting but it should be a kind of dirty gold and navy.
Hi all, I understand it's a longshot, but I'm looking to see if anyone has a Sky Blue Azazie Floral Burnout tie they'd be willing to ship to me. I'm in the groomsmen party for a friend's wedding next weekend (July 11th) in Colorado, and I just got an email today saying the tie I ordered at the beginning of June got lost in transit. I'm scrambling to say the least. I appreciate any help I can get towards being able to track one of these guys down. As I've been finding out, it's a very hard tie to replicate. I'm willing to pay double the value of the tie and for the shipping.
A little backstory first: So I've always been a basic guy, dressed in sneakers, jeans, tshirt and hoodie. That's what's comfy, that's what I like, that doesn't draw much attention to me and my usually rather bad self image. Then a few months ago, to the wedding of my best friend, I wore a tie for the first time and as an ADHD person, I naturally hyperfixated for a few weeks on all kinds of different tie knots before and after the wedding so I could wear one I like, not one that is "clean" (like the basic 4hand or windsor). I ended up with the Eidiety knot as it's pretty unusual but not too fancy.
Fast forward, I've become a little obsessed with ties and slowly started wearing them on everyday occasions like Uni, grocery shopping, on walks, etc. There is this one knot I got really excited about when I found it - the Eldredge knot - but with my 2 ties I couldn't do it, they were too short and the tie looked silly in the end. So I ordered 4 longer ones in different colors.
Anyway, I've been getting 1 or 2 compliments about my fancy knots over the last few months, but today (just a few minutes ago) was the kicker: On my way home, I wore a green microfiber tie with a (dare I say) beautifully tied Eldredge knot. So this elderly lady stared at me for a few seconds, then complimented me how beautiful that knot is and where she could find it and it's name as she has a few lady scarfs/cloths (idk what it's called, probably these thin silky scarf-ish cloths you can tie in a little fancy knot around your neck). Then I wrote the name down for her and she went home, saying she'll immediately look it up.
TL:DR: Fancy tie knot got me a very nice compliment from an elderly lady.
Another big thanks to our tie brother u/linoleum79 for rehoming this tie! I’d been waiting for my brown check suit to come up in the rotation to give it a tie. Rich brown, sky blue, and bold paisley - checks all the boxes for me.
Have a great day and 250th 4th of July weekend!
My first ever Brioni , quality is so different compared to my other ties.
These averaged out to maybe $5 each, how did I do?
A warm summer evening at a rooftop bar. Linen suit and shirt, knitted silk tie.
Pulled the unmistakable Burberry plaid for my Wednesday pink.
Have a great day gents!
