Got my first affiliate deal!

It’s starting at 15% commission, plus I also get 50–75% off products—which honestly is a huge win for me because it’s a craft hobby I already really enjoy.

To set it up, I just had to provide my PayPal email (they support international payments), and I’ve already received my referral link. So I’m basically good to go now.

What makes this interesting is that they normally don’t really bring on affiliates since they usually handle everything themselves, and a lot of people have tried to join before. I think what helped me is I stayed consistent—joining their live streams, engaging, sharing, reposting, and just being active overall so they knew I was serious and not going to disappear.

I’m honestly viewing it as a win either way. Even if I don’t make a ton of sales, I’m getting a big discount on products I was already going to buy for a hobby I enjoy. So worst case, I just saved money on something I love doing. Best case, I actually earn a little extra on top of that.

Right now I’m treating the commission as a bonus rather than an expectation, especially since it’s my first deal. But I am curious how this stacks up—does 15% + heavy product discount sound decent for a beginner affiliate setup?
