I am confused, I just downloaded it, and let’s just say… I need a lot of practice lol, but anyways for my first tool, I’m trying to make a stone axe, and I have the stone axe head, but what other parts do I need? I thought I needed a binding and a stone tool handle, but nothing happened when I put them into the station.
Hello there! Not much to add to the title save for the obvious: Tinkers Construct's tools override vanilla tools. I can't think of anyone using vanilla tools with TC.
However, there are potential balancing issues that are not that obvious. For example, how easy it is to get, say, a vanilla iron pickaxe versus a TC iron pickaxe (need a melter, need grout, seared stone, etc...). Same thing with weapons and armour in general.
Not exactly disable them, since mobs use them (PIGLIN$$$ !!!), but how about doing something like being unlootable or undroppable? I am talking blind with those two things, since I don't even know if it's even possible to implement. I also thought of reducing it's durability drastically, so that you won't use them because it's absolutely not worth it from a cost-benefit point of view: A golden sword that stands only 3 hits or an iron chestplate that costs 8 irons and withstands... say, 5 hits.

Is there any way to make an infinite blaze blood farm to use it as fuel for my big smelter ? I got my hands with a blaze spawner but when the blaze spawn they consume more blaze blood than what they produce idk what to do
