After seeing a video Nico did a while back I went to try on the Tissot PRX 35mm looked too small for my liking and the 40mm slightly too big so I initially passed on the Tissot PRX and just bought a Seiko.

Recently I learned that they now make a titanium PRX in a 38mm size. I went to my local Tissot dealer who had just one in stock i tried it on, fell in love and purchased it making it my first titanium and first Swiss watch.

After seeing some of the fakes i have zero idea how to tell.

I have been wearing thid watch for over a year and dont really know how to tell if its legit. Im just wondering is it real or fake and how can you tell? EDIT: I thought the pics looked good when I took them but yall are cracking me up

Managed to get it for around $406 secondhand (2023), which honestly feels kinda insane for this watch.

Pictures really don’t do the dial justice. The ice blue + waffle texture hits completely different in person.

Now I understand why this watch has such a cult following 💀

Just bought this used PRX Powermatic 80 Ice Blue 40mm locally for around $460 USD.

I found an absolute deal on this Tissot PRX, I paid £255 for this automatic version, and I’m almost like 99% certain that it is legit but I wanted your guys expert opinion too

I previously bought a PRX from an AD but gave it to my brother, it’s the Ice blue one in the picture, and when comparing it, everything looks legit, I’ve included side by side comparisons too

Hey folks !

Got my first PRX Powermatic 80 last week and was checking out the movement up close. I noticed what looks like a slight wobble or uneven rotation in the balance staff/pivot as the balance moves. The watch seems to be running fine otherwise.
Is this normal at this level of magnification, or is it something worth having checked?

Got this Rado DiaStar Original gold with diamond dial. Love the vintage vibe and 35mm case, feels classy and lightweight.

Thinking of the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Gold too - 40mm, integrated bracelet, auto movement.

For daily wear and value, which one wins? Is the Rado the extra over the PRX?

I bought this PRX second hand off a friend of mine and the only flaw is this small dark spot in the PVD finish on one of the lugs. I’ve tried cleaning it off using microfiber. Afraid to try any solvents because I don’t want to mess it up, but I’m thinking it’s a flaw in the PVD Gold itself. Should I try taking it somewhere to see if they can fix it or should I just ignore it and move on with my life?

Edit: I forgot to mention the watch is still under warranty. Tissot says they don’t cover alteration in color for non-metallic straps or peeling of coatings, but this seems like neither of those apply so it would still be covered to me.

This would definitely be a killer watch. Looks like it wants to be a Rolex but that colour combination would be soo good.
