r/tofino

Hi there!
I‘m a German travellor (f 33) currently in Tofino. I just wanted to book my shuttle from here to Victoria on Tuesday but it’s sold out! I’m a bit at a loss now, because my accommodation is fully booked after Tuesday and I can’t find any other way to get to Nanaimo from here (except maybe a 400$ private taxi)?
I’m open to any suggestions, or maybe someone is going that direction on Tuesday, 18th August? I have now booked the second part of the journey from Nanaimo to Victoria at 6pm, so a ride just to Nanaimo would suffice (and be awesome!)
I know it’s totally my fault for not booking earlier, normally I’m good with that stuff I just screwed that one up.

anyone been there at the end of October like 27-31st? I would like to go for my bday. I live in the lower mainland but have never been. what are the key things to do/see? thanks:)

Just arrived in Tofino & need a place to camp for a can and a tent.

We were told we had a site and jammed out here this morning but the place said the gal didn’t make the reservation.

Hi everyone, I know it's the absolute peak of the August summer rush and finding same-day accommodation here is next to impossible. My husband and I suddenly had a last-minute opportunity to drive out here today, and we would absolutely love to find a place to stay tonight.Everything is showing completely sold out online, even the small motels in Port Alberni and nearby areas. We are open to absolutely anything—a hotel, a basic roadside motel, a cabin, or even a small guest suite.If anyone knows of a hidden spot, a last-minute cancellation that hasn't updated online yet, or a local guest room available, please let me know.
