rank: bronze I....
as you can hear I was shocked and excited by healing on W
I’m currently s3 and I’d say that I win my laning most of the time but everytime I hold tab or look at the kills, my team is always losing or is in a disadvantage state. Like Litteraly last time I played I had a botlane that was 5/35 out of 49 team deaths. I know that I can also play better but I’d like a general idea of how hard it would be to rank up playing top?
I’ve played every role except support and hit Diamond on all of them. I usually stop playing once I reach Diamond, but top lane has definitely been the most fun for me.
This time, I want to try pushing for Master, so I’d love some help with my champion pool. The champs I’m most comfortable with are Gragas, Volibear, Pantheon, and Jax.
I'm also good on Quinn, Sion, Renekton, and kinda good on K'Sante.
I'm also okayish on Ambessa.
I want 3 to 4 champions that would give me the most balance out of all that I mentioned.
Do you think this pool is good enough, or should I add someone else?
Hi! I'm a Kayle main and I hover around diamond to master elo. I don't have a problem playing her on red side especially when I get last pick and just play into favorable matchups. However, when I'm blue side and I'm first pick, I'm having trouble choosing her because if I get counterpicked, I get punished a lot.
With that being said, can you guys recommend someone I can learn who is a good blind pick but can also scale into the late game? Much appreciated!
Edit: It would be a + if it's AD, but not really necessary.
Edit 2: Thanks, guys! I've made up my mind. Main blind would be Ornn; Ambessa if team needs more damage.
I got gigastomped by this Fiora, I checked their account and saw the numbers pre-Fiora and post-Fiora and thought it looks suspicious.
Hey !
I'm training toplane in normal game and I was asking myself why most of the toplaner have the mindset figth or die ? Often my opponent seem obssessed to kill me, even going to dive and trade kill.
Is this the only strategy to play coinflip ?
The most annoying is when they start emote cause they can't kill u at the moment. They feel very frustrated.
It may be cause the toplane champ are made with that gameplay ?
I would like to have your opinion ?
My default is Sett or Morde if I’m certain who I’m fighting. Swap depending on wether we need AD/AP
If enemy picks another fighter that can cheese them in lane lvl 1-2 I go Trynd. So basically Trundle and Darius
My proxy counter is AP Jax (Trynd, Singed, Garen, Kayn)
For ranged matchups I do the classic Summon Aery + bramble rush tech. I pick Sion, Ornn or Rammus depending on who’s best in the draft. Rammus into AA jungle or mid, Ornn if I have someone I can setup (Yasuo, Samira), Sion enemy top is Heimerdinger
So TLDR:
Sett/Morde mains
Flex: Trynd, Sion, Ornn, Rammus and Jax
I'm so done getting autofilled to toplane.I queue as support then adc and for some reason I'm getting filled toplane every 3 games. Aegis of valor doesn't mean shit if I'm gonna get stomped everytime. I don't like top and I don't want learn top. What can I pick if I don't have last pick?
what in gods green earth did they do to nasus this patch, it was usually a free lane for me but i deadass just played him 4 straight games and he actually stomped my entire lobby all 4 times. i know he got some sort of indirect buffs but dear god i haven’t actively noticed a change this hard in a champ in awhile
seriously
league is a fighting strategy game. but as soon as the strategy gets interesting and creative y'all shit your pants cause you want to play the exact same thing for the rest of your life.
Support roaming is supper interesting. it makes so much since strategically speaking. it makes the game so dynamic and thought intensive. as opposed to mind numbingly farming in lane for 10-20 minutes as we've been doing for the past 15 years, people are doing something smart and getting rewarded.
this is what strategy is all about. thinking what makes sense, trying it out, being rewarded for it.
Ranged toplane works because it utilizes the current emphasis on botlane objectives - pulling jungler away from the toplane.
Try new things. have fun.
go duo mid. take 5 tanks. play river shen. camp with teemp mid lane and gank lvl 1. holy shit just have some fun will ya?
no one is to say one meta is better and league is not "supposed" to "be" anything. it will constantly changes and that is for the better - otherwise we'd be sick of it a decade ago.
I killed her level one (nobody expects Dorans Blade Ignite Sion) and proceeded to earn myself a modest 5k Gold lead by minute 20
I mostly stick to riven/fiora/ornn.
The only AP champ that somewhat appeals to me is Vladimir, but supposedly he's kinda shite toplane, and certainly not very 'honourable'. So I'm curious, how far can you get with an all AD+tank pool?
Does it become imperative to have at least one in higher elos?
much love
I reached diamond recently, and I am planning to get to master. Rn my main pick was mundo mid most of the times, sometimes going Irelia whenever the team comp required it, and going yasuo if whenever both mundo and Irelia were either banned or taken. I am going back to top lane now tho, and im wondering if I should maybe change my pool a little. I still want to keep playing Irelia and Mundo, as they both counter different things, but im not sure if yasuo is the right pick. I really enjoy playing him but my wr is pretty bad with him, and maybe there is a diff champ that could be a good and easy blind pick that would also fill potential matchups that both Irelia and mundo struggle against, such as trundle, nasus or olaf.
Is this still working anywhere :D Soaking up some nice ep from ww setting him up for the lvl 3 kill
