Today it’s been made official. Oilers have fired Knoblauch. A coach who took Edmonton to the Stanley cup final, coaching a team with a similar play style and roster make up to the leafs, and has experience coaching high money high profile talent (and all the challenges they come with).
Did the oilers just gift us our best coaching candidate? And did someone phone Chayka and Mats immediately and tell them to call this guy right now?

If the Leafs could secure the second round pick from San Jose in exchange for Matthews, and take both McKenna and Stenberg, would it not be worth it?

Purchased this jersey that was from the March 7th game against the Lightning. Jersey and name plate were part of the celebration of International Women's Day. The design is a collaboration between the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and the PWHL's Toronto Sceptres. Name plate and jersey were both signed by Leafs Captain Auston Matthews. Close up in the second photo on the shoulder patch, plus who doesn't want to see some Adidas MiC dimples?
