Been dabbling in cat genetics recently and couldn’t help but try to see how my two would look like with different genes! Just black was the easiest, so that’s what I did! But ginger and tabico would be so cool to see too.

I thought some of you might like to try envisioning your torticos without the orange, or in some other way! The white stays the same while the colored parts can change. Juno and Maxine are just as adorable both ways, I was so excited watching my edits come together 🥹 They totally get that “tuxedo” cat look. Hoping some of you find this as interesting as I do!

My Honey was diagnosed with terminal cancer on Friday after originally being diagnosed with IBD. She went to sleep on Saturday. She was 2 months away from 9 and 5 months away from my 30th birthday. My sweet baby. I’m devastated.

actually though, do yall think Ziggy is a tortie or calico? the white splotches make me think calico, but the distribution of other colors looks like tortoiseshell

This is my sweet girl, Dottie. I adopted her when she was already almost 9. We’re approaching half her life together now!!!

Rescued her in November 2024. She is the sweetest and most conversational cat I have ever met. She has been an incredible blessing and I’m very grateful.

She’s pretty small for a fully grown baby!
