As the title says, after being a member for over a decade and keeping my ratio up, I failed to park my account a few times (3 times) in the past 10 or so years of usage, and when I tried to recover it in IRC, I was told that I was a security risk and that my account was suspended indefinitely. I'm sort of awestruck that... it happened. if there are any members here that want to check my story and make sure it's true, I'm happy to PM you the details of the chat I had in IRC and my former username, so you can see my good standing and healthy stats. I'm pretty bummed out. Anyone here have any sway over there, or know what I should do?

It makes no sense, can somebody check if "4Story" is seeded by people? Particullary versions before 2010.

I consider myself still pretty new to private trackers. Been on my MaM for a little under a year and recently got into HD Torrents and Seed Pool.

I really like the automation that the arr stack gives me. I tired to set up tags to make sure Prowlarr only uses Seep Pool, but it sometimes does not work. I also set the priority of the indexer to 1 and have my public trackers set to 25.

Ideally, I think I would like it if my private trackers to be the only ones used, UNLESS I do a manual search. Not sure the best way to set that up. But, I am also open to other setups that you guys might have input on. Thanks ahead of time!

If you don't already have cross-seed or Qui running, set it up now. While cross-seed is superior at this function, it does have a harder initial setup.

Huge benefits:

• Free BON: You dl from only one tracker but can cross-seed to all others increasing your bonus point acquisition among the other trackers.
• Hardlinking: Cross-seeding supports hardlinking so you don't have to download multiple of the same torrents from other trackers. One file is all you need to seed to all the other trackers.
• Add 100's of torrents w/o downloading anything: Anytime you join a new tracker cross-seed will slowly scan through all of your active torrents and cross-seed as many as it can find. When I joined BLU, after letting cross-seed do its thing overnight I woke up to over 100 torrents successfully seeding and earning me BON without downloading anything or hurting my ratio.

Worth pairing with Autobrr. I let it grab my torrents to help me race with others and it usually spreads out my downloads among trackers nicely. Set it and forget it. It can also plug into Qui and cross-seed new torrents as soon as they drop. Because of this I actually run both Qui and cross-seed:

• Cross-seed to do just that: cross-seed
• Qui alongside Autobrr to grab new torrents/cross-seeds as they are uploaded.

PSA: Don't forget to still use your trackers appropriately and diversify your downloads. Don't be just a cross-seeder at any tracker; contribute.

I have a Autobrr qui setup for cross seeding on multiple trackers but each run don't find any match.

I only have a few private trackers so i'm wondering if this is the cause.
What I have setup:
- Cross seed RSS automation
- qBittorrent
- RSS auto download (idk what this does)
- Orphan scan

Please tell me if its normal or if some conf is missing.

So this is my first private tracker. My server & torrent client are hosted on Ubuntu Server. Aside from that the only things I have to access the interview are my phone & my iPad.

All my devices are on the same network. Should I be allowed to do the interview on my iPad or would that be an issue? TIA :)

It's been down for over a week - and this is a vital source (if not the only source) for a lot of my content, and it's been a struggle to get content from other sites.

Has anyone got any idea why the site is down?

I got a warning for promoting violence. I’m not even going to appeal. Someone reported because I made negative comment*probably* about FNP. No threat or promotion of violence.

If I get banned from reddit and other social media, it is probably all for the better. These are designed to make us addicted and scrape our data.

the fact that FNP is back so quickly at all might give off the implication that its owner is a spineless coward who can't commit to anything that has no integrity and can't admit to any specific wrongdoing

however you feel about that assessment of his character, that profile screenshot could be useful as a tracker proof when applying for future trackers. for many people, this complete meltdown means that FNP is dead to them and not actually worth uploading anything to. but the point of tracker proofs at all is moreso to get a feel for if a person actually knows what they're doing with the whole private tracker thing in general.

if i got an application from someone with 10TB uploaded, but it's to IPTorrents, it's a little gross sure but clearly they understand the tracker ecosystem, how to maintain a good ratio, etc. conversely if i get an application from someone who has 200GB uploaded to torrentleech or something (i'm keeping it to entry-tier trackers and i know a lot of them are pretty dingy okay) the while that may be a "better" site, it's not as strong of a measurement of their commitment.

I know some of you are hurt, angry, or disappointed that the site closed. I understand that. FNP was a place people spent time in, built libraries on, and made friends through. Seeing it disappear affected a lot of people, and I never wanted it to happen that way.

What I think many people don’t fully understand though is what it took for me to keep FNP alive in the first place.

I founded FNP in September 2023 and ran it almost entirely alone for years. Every late night, every bill, every stressful decision, every problem behind the scenes, that was me dealing with it. I put my own money, time, energy, and honestly most of my life into keeping the site online.

Behind the scenes, things became extremely difficult. People I trusted with access and responsibility ended up using that position against me. Servers were reported, infrastructure was disrupted, money was lost, data was lost, and I was constantly being pushed into a corner. There were months where it felt like people were trying to wear me down until I either gave up, walked away, or handed everything over.

A lot of the public narrative around FNP was controlled by people with influence and connections, and I felt powerless to properly defend myself while it was happening. At the same time, I was trying to carry the entire weight of the site mentally, financially, and emotionally.

I’m autistic, I struggle mentally, and I’ve always struggled with this. A lot of you probably know that by now. FNP became my whole life, and over time the pressure eventually became too much.

I was overwhelmed, exhausted, depressed, and honestly just sad. Closing the site was never done because I stopped caring. If anything, it happened because I cared too much for too long and eventually reached a point where I genuinely didn’t know how to keep going safely anymore.

That’s the part I wish more people understood.

I’m not writing this for sympathy or to publicly attack anyone. I just want people to understand there was a real human being behind the site, and that human being was struggling badly while trying to hold everything together.

I’ve now come back with a fresh setup, fresh control, and a healthier direction for the future. The people who caused problems are no longer involved, because after everything that happened, I no longer want them around FNP or around me.

Even after reopening, in the first 5 minutes there were immediately attempts to create negativity again, some people where literally waiting just so they could try something, personally attack me, or target FNP’s infrastructure. Honestly, that only confirmed for me that separating from that environment was the right decision. I don’t want drama around FNP. I just want to focus on rebuilding the community, moving forward peacefully, and enjoying the site again with the people who genuinely want to be here.

And if you want to be part of where FNP goes from here, just being around, seeding, talking in chat, uploading, or showing support in any way you can, that’s the kind of support that actually keeps a place like this alive.

If some of you are still angry with me, I understand. I just hope maybe now you can better understand what these last few years were actually like for me behind the scenes.

And if you came back, thank you. Seriously. It means more than you probably realise.

I've seeded for a month and my ratio is only 0.13. 4 torrents, my download is nearly at the 50GB limit. I've seen people claim it's "easy" but I don't believe it. I can't find any content to upload, cross-seed is useless, I'm all out of options. That site has everything I've been looking for and I'm close to being banned from it.

been down for more then for 24h for me, even torrents are reporting that they can't connect so it's not only website.

Let me start by saying that I believe that this sub has lost a good mod who I believe had only good intentions here.

I've 'known' GlimpseOfTruth since about the beginning of last year because of all the dramas elsewhere (it doesn't need naming).

During that time I've personally found him to be beyond helpful especially when we were setting up our refugee program to get people onto other sites. I've also shared multiple conversations on IRC channels that we inhabit.

I too have given him money after he was incredibly helpful in the setting up of my *arrs. He actually got really pissed at me for doing so but I had no qualms about it because there was no way I could've set it all up myself.

In my opinion, GlimpseOfTruth has been hard done by the readers of this sub whilst kami has pretty much been seen as the wronged one, and this is despite this sub having a super low opinion of kami (I hold no opinion on kami because I've never interacted with them and wasn't on fnp).

For the record, I do believe that Glimpse made a serious error of judgement in using accounts he has control over to reply to himself.

I'm fully expecting to get downvoted to hell on this.

Why do they have them? Is it some self imposed thing? Or is it due to server costs? Or what? Like I always think some of these trackers could use more people and I don’t get why they stick to a set limit. I get having some kind of idea of being selective. But why base it on an arbitrary number like 10,000?

An obscure movie? An unreleased song? Some piece of content you cant find anywhere else?

I know very little about Polish private trackers, so I was hoping someone could give me a general lay of the land.

I am mainly wondering:

What Polish private trackers currently exist?

Which ones are considered the main/general trackers?

Do any of them ever have open signups, and if so, how often?

If open signups are rare or nonexistent, how difficult are they to get into?

Are there any trackers that are especially good for Polish movies, TV, older content, or local releases?

I am not asking for invites or anything against tracker rules. I am just trying to understand what the Polish tracker scene looks like, how active it is, and whether it is realistic for someone new to that scene to eventually get access.

Any general info would be appreciated.

Browsed all open trackers, all downloads are stuck. Is there any place to find them? Specifically Kriminal, Satanik, Alan Ford full runs. Thank You.

I’ve been getting more interested in nordic/swedish private trackers lately, especially superbits. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the community and it seems like the kind of place I’d really enjoy being part of.

I’m currently on torrentleech as an extreme user, and I’m also active on trackers like digitalcore and seedpool, which have been generous with open invites. I’ve grown pretty confident with ratio, long-term seeding, and keeping things organized. I basically perma-seed what I can, and I honestly enjoy the whole side of torrenting around retention and giving back.

For people who have been around longer, what’s the realistic path toward trackers like Superbits?

Would appreciate any advice.

hey i’m looking for the highest quality vinyl rips (DsD, and i know DsD isn’t better than PCM but DsD rips tend to have better equipment? occasionally) that are properly cleaned, good conversion etc.

for example Metallica AJFA - Colombia Club edition Ride the Lightning - Spaceship EU Pressing other early pressings

i know Red has a lot of niche music, but is it worth interviewing for high quality rips of mainstream stuff? the rips on Soulseek and Rutracker of these rarer variants tend to be noisy although they do sound better than what’s on streaming
