Is there a watchlist limit?
As the title say is there a limit for the free version?
If so what’s the limit?
Thanks

Hi, I just moved my stuff over from TV Time, like everyone else. Everything synced just fine, but my library on my profile is still empty. I don’t understand where i can see all my watched movies and shows.. I can see in the history tab, but that shows every single episode of shows, and that’s not what i want.
I just want to see all the shows and movies i have watched like on TV Time. I assumed this is the library but it just says ”There is nothing in this list yet” no matter if i click on custom or plex. Any help or info would be appreciated🫶
As said in title. Except for the trakt website itself, no third party app is syncing with my trakt account.
As a person who relies on trakt to sync their progress, this is becoming a highly inconvenient thing as it's been happening for a few days now. Reconnecting my trakt account has made everything I marked as watched in trakt now unwatched, which has sent me into a frenzy.
Luckily I do know that I'm not the only person facing this issue, but when can we expect a fix for this? It's been happening for a few days now? 2 days minimum at least.
I have not heard any official statement or even acknowledgment from a trakt official so is this an issue that trakt is aware of?
I'm coming from TV time and I wanted to add a rewatch for a movie but I couldn't see any options , is it even available on the app?
Hi, so I’m also coming from TV time and I’m used to the list appearing in the last watched order, but on top of the list, if a new season came out it will appear first. Now I’m using Trakt and new seasons like X-Men ‘97 season 2, is not on the top of the list.
Is that how it works here? How do you guys make sure you don’t miss new releases like this?
I watched Silo s03e01 yesterday, once episode will release, where will it be on the list?
Hi, so after using Trakt for 10 years, I quit using it after the V3 update. After months of not finding anything else that was any better for my needs, I decided to give in and come back a few days ago. I have been working on adding the things I've watched in that time, but I'm struggling with parts of the new interface.
My main complaint is that clicking on an episode in my history doesn't take me to that episode, it takes me to the page for the whole series. This makes manually logging my past watch history much more tedious, if every time I need to go back to that show I have to go to the main show page before I can navigate to that season then that episode. In the previous UI you could click on the episode name to be taken to the page for it, or the show name to be taken to the page for the whole show. Lacking the navigation to the episode itself has been very frustrating. I also really miss the arrows to let me go directly back/forward an episode.
Similarly, on the show page, finding episodes takes a bit more effort than it used to. Instead of just clicking on the season then the episode, I find that from the main show page I have to click "Seasons", then click on the dropdown, scroll to the season and click it, then scroll to find the episode because anything past episode 7 doesn't show unless you actually click on "Seasons >". This is a fairly small issue I guess, but it does add time that I didn't used to have to spend just to log something as watched. EDIT: I found on the mobile site that there is a hidden scroll bar and I can actually scroll through without clicking on "Seasons >". On desktop however, there is no scroll bar and it only shows up to episode 7.
Am I missing something and there's an easier way to navigate these things? If that's the case, please let me know. If not, I really hope things get back to being a bit more streamlined in the future.
I'm trying trakt after the whole tv time stuff and I can't seem to find my all time stats. Am I wrong in thinking that trakt doesn't have them?
Is anyone else experiencing this? I can no longer get to the legacy version of trakt. Everything forwards to app.trakt.tv.
Are things screwed up rn? Plex just had a bunch marked unwatched, things look wrong on my profile on watcht and im not getting the email for that stupid sign in link
TV Time is shutting down after July 15, 2026, and we know many people are suddenly looking for a new place to keep their watch history and continue tracking what they watch.
We’ve built the Trakt importer to help make that kind of move easier. It now supports the TV Time GDPR export .zip directly, so you can download your data from TV Time and bring your supported tracking data into Trakt.
>If you want to keep your TV Time data, request and download your TV Time export before July 15.
.zip file. You don’t need to unzip, rename, or manually edit the files..zip directly. The full step-by-step guide with screenshots is here:
https://forums.trakt.tv/t/how-to-import-your-tv-time-data-into-trakt/114178
The importer is designed to move supported TV Time tracking data into Trakt, including watch history, watchlist, and ratings when available.
Some data, especially comments, reactions, social activity, and app-specific metadata, won’t be imported, but you don’t have to start from scratch either.
Trakt won’t feel exactly like TV Time. It has its own approach to tracking, lists, stats, discovery, apps, and integrations, but the Trakt community is strong and growing.
Core tracking on Trakt is free. VIP adds extra features, higher limits, and more advanced tools, but you don’t need VIP just to start tracking.
If something looks missing or incorrect after importing, please reply here with examples so we can take a look.
Helpful details include:
.zipPlease don’t post your TV Time export publicly.

Welcome to Trakt, enjoy your stay!
🍿 The Trakt team
After testing a lot of alternatives, I found the best one where you can import your TV time data.
I believe you already know Trakt and this one is a different version that works closely with Trakt. It is called Showly. I don't know if you can directly import TV time data there, but you can easily sync your data from Trakt to here. Just use your Trakt account for import and sync it to Showly.
Why am I suggesting this?
When it comes to functionality, it is same with the Trakt. But it has much more better UI. Maybe better than TV time for some people. It works really smoothly and you can sync data between Trakt and Showly automatically without doing any work!
Also, I want a community there, I looked there and it was hard to find comments hahah that is the main reason I am suggesting this. The only letdown is that you can't add photo to your comments like TV time.
I tested Refract, at the moment it loads really slow and my data isn't imported yet. But the UI is basically AI generated and it looks so bad. Comment section is bad as well.
If you have any better suggestion with good community, please let me know!
I'm a TV Time orphan trying to figure out where I'm going to land. Can anyone tell me where trakt pulls its episode data from? TV Time used TVDb and it looks like some of the alternates use TMDB, which is less updated for the main show I want to track. I know I can create an account and update it myself, but that defeats my purpose of having an app to tell me what's next.
I imported all my data from tv time and now they are all on category ''Continue Watching'' which is very wrong as i already have watched all this shows. And the more problematic behaviour is that i cannot select all the shows to click that i have already watched them. I have to do it one by one for all the shows. And on top of that its for every episode one by one by one. Like guys what is this? Fix this issue or make the ''Continue Watching'' category so we can click all the shows and if we want to click episodes to click in that specific show.
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone here has been through this before.
I requested my GDPR data from TV Time, and I also exported CSV and JSON files using a browser extension. I managed to import everything into Trakt, including both movies and TV shows, but there's one big issue.
Everything ended up being marked as watched. None of my data was separated into things like my watchlist, currently watching/in progress, watched, etc. On TV Time I had everything organized properly, but after importing to Trakt it's basically all treated as completed.
Is there any way to import the data while preserving those different lists/statuses, or is that information simply not included in the export?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
Hi, I'm new to Trakt, but I can't see the total amount of time I've spent watching movies or TV shows. It only says a week. Thanks for the replies.
TV Time provides an official GDPR self-service tool to export your account data:
https://gdpr.tvtime.com/gdpr/self-service
Just sign in with your TV Time account and request your data export.
I figured I'd share this because a lot of people may not know this tool exists, and it could help save years of watch history, ratings, and lists before the shutdown.
Hopefully this helps someone!
First off it's frustrating that there's a limit to importing my TV Time data using the gdpr file. So I'm trying to use seperate files from extensions and for the shows its skipping ALL of the shows.. I tried more than once.
Idk if this issue is on my end or the app simply doesn't support the import well enough. Can someone who's also migrating from TV Time with a huge library help me out? And if it worked for you, did it neatly separate your shows and movies as (watched, to-watch, watching, stopped, etc..) or is that also an inconvenience?
It'd be nice to have a clear view of what my expectations should be so I don't waste time trying to import again 😭
I can't find anywhere "One Piece Heroines" (Wan Pîsu Hiroinzu), is there a way to add it to the app or to report its absence?
What movies/show database is used tonpopulate the app?
Thanks!
Hello everyone. I had to set my new trakt TV account after TV time shutting down.
What is the app for you that ticks all the boxes and offers the best experience? I tried Film Noir as first.
It's ok-to-good, but I found one flaw with the tab that should show when returning shows would return and doesn't display the date even if it's announced. Rest is good and widget looks nice.
I heard Showly is also good especially for android devices. Any other opinions or a solution for Film Noir? I don't know how popular this one is.
With TV Time shutting down, I was trying to transfer my data to Trakt. I downloaded the data from TV Time and imported the file "tracking-prod-records-v2.csv" as requested in the website. However, there are a lot of shows missing and evem more strange random episodes in the middle of season also appear as unwatched.
What may be causing this and is there any solution?
