By the way, if you are using Traktor on a ThinkPad (Windows), uninstall ASIO drivers and select "Windows WASAPI (Exclusive)" in the software settings / along with your controller, if applicable. Switch to airplane mode and enjoy a rock-solid experience for hours.
Hey everyone! I’m here mainly to ask a couple of questions and get some advice from people who are much more experienced than me.
I’ve just got a Traktor MX2 and I’m starting to learn how to DJ with Traktor Pro 4. I’m really into the style of DJs like Joseph Capriati, Ricardo Villalobos, Paco Osuna and others from that kind of scene. So I’m mainly interested in learning proper club-style DJing rather than the more social-media-oriented stuff you see from DJs like James Hype, etc.
I’d really appreciate any advice you guys might have for someone just starting out, especially regarding what I should focus on learning first.
Also, if you know any good tutorials, YouTube channels, videos or other resources that you think are actually worth watching, I’d love to check them out.
I’ve always used a setup of Technic 1200’s and a Z2. I’m looking to dabble with a controller. Any suggestions on a value controller that works with the 2+2 style of a Z2?? Don’t really want to jump in with the S4 until I know I like it.
