| Dramaformice | Playing Alongside Hackers is the New Normal for Transformice Players

Hello mice gamers. This is Dramaformice, the only credible news organization in Transformice.

August 18 (Dramaformice) - Hacks granting players extraordinary in-game abilities have become so common in Transformice that playing alongside cheaters has become the new normal.

While the Transformice community is still recovering from a six-day attack on the game's servers, players are now logging into a game full of hackers.

Yesterday, a player named Pops#7221, despite not being a shaman, was able to freely summon portals on each map, teleporting mice directly from the cheese to holes.

Pops#7221, who remained unbanned for hours, remarked, "i hope ur enjoying this btw. if not just tell me. ill go."

Unlike with many cheaters in the past, however, players largely responded positively to Pops#7221. During the player's hours-long presence in the game, one player chanted, "POPS PLEASE GIVE ME ALL THE SHAMAN ORBS AND FURS." Others refused to report Pops#7221, arguing that the player was merely helping them.

Other players have not been so lucky. Some hackers have instead chosen to spam in-game items, such as ice cubes, to deliberately cause lag and disconnect players from rooms.

Dramaformice reached out to the creator of a popular Transformice cheat engine for comment on the current state of the game as well as the recent attacks against servers.

"Im just making cheats not attacking anything," the creator said.

During the interview, the creator told Dramaformice that the cheat engine was first released in December 2024 and was written in C++. According to the creator, its usage peaked in 2025, particularly among players in racing rooms. The cheat engine now operates as a standalone program and grants players abilities such as summoning items and making mice "sticky" to different surfaces.

The cheat engine's Discord server has around 600 members, where users can purchase one month of access to the program for €6.99.

Although the cheat engine's server is currently offline due to its private server fee issues, its creator has announced plans to update the program soon.

| DRAMAFORMICE | Who Was Behind the 6 Days DDoS Attack Against TFM?

Hello mice gamers. This is Dramaformice, the only credible news organization in Transformice.

August 16 (Dramaformice) - Hackers had been carrying out DDoS attacks against Transformice's servers for six days. Over the past week, players on Discord and Reddit reported experiencing unusually high ping and frequent connection issues.

Today, after a nearly week-long disruption, players were finally able to return to their favorite grind sessions for cheese as usual. Upon their return, some players expressed frustration over the game's security.

But questions remain: Who was behind the DDoS attack? And could it happen again?

One of Dramaformice's sources claimed to have been in close contact with the alleged hacker. According to the source, the alleged hacker was sending as many as approximately 4,000 bots at once in an attempt to disrupt players' connections.

The alleged hacker claimed responsibility for the attack yesterday, according to screenshots of Discord conversations provided by the source. The alleged hacker also claimed that Transformice had been creating 16 new servers in an effort to counter the attack.

Dramaformice has not been able to independently verify the alleged hacker's claims.

Other Dramaformice sources have suggested that Transformice has previously been vulnerable to similar attacks. In the past, cheat engines targeting the game were reportedly sold online for as little as $20.

A DDoS attack, short for distributed denial-of-service attack, is a malicious attempt to disrupt traffic to a targeted server or online service by overwhelming it with traffic from a large number of devices.

I recreated Transformice 0.129 in the browser — looking for old players to test it

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a little passion project: recreating the old Transformice 0.129 experience from scratch for the browser.

It’s already playable, with the classic gameplay, physics, shaman mechanics, maps, etc. I’m trying to get it as close as possible to how the game actually felt back then — not just make something that looks similar.

I’m looking for old TFM players who want to jump in, play a few rounds, and tell me when something feels wrong. Especially if you played around 2010–2011.

Play it here:
https://play.tfmclassic.com

If you remember the old game well, I'd really appreciate your feedback. And if you happen to have old maps, screenshots, files, or anything from that era, I'd love to hear from you too.

This is just a passion/preservation project — no monetization, just trying to bring that old feeling back.

How do people move so fast? (And other wonders)

See title. I have in general felt like there is some secret meta that goes undiscussed on this game but other people seem clued in on and I would love to just finally have answers, per say.

Firstly, I have been curious for many years how some people on this game never slide off walls during walljumps. I have tried intuiting from debug mode how it works but no solid answers. I noticed lag seems to increase lack of collision with walls during WJ; my computer is old and it struggles to load in certain maps or animations, then I get lag spikes, then sliding increases. Is this is the correct connection to be making? Or is it something else and I'm getting a false positive? How do I stop slipping either way?

I also want to know how people do such fast inputs. I can tell I move slower than others on button presses even when I am trying my best, in fact sometimes it is like the game just stops responding to my inputs. I have considered a magnetic keyboard (not just for this I swear, I also have intent to learn to speedrun a different game that is incredibly input-sensitive) but is there anything else I can do in the meantime? Would a magnetic keyboard even help with the game's lack of response? I feel so sluggish and it's frustrating.

There are other things I wonder too, like how people know when exactly to turn around before grabbing the cheese to decrease distance back to the mouse hole, or how to increase my CJ precision. Should I just play with debug mode on more until I can 'sense' without it when is correct?

I am also interested in just general tips, advice, etc. Anything anyone has to say I have interest in. My ping averages 20-30, I want to harness the maximum of my power.. lol.

Sorry for acting like a sweat I just love this game and I want to continue to get better at it. Fun for me is when a game is hard, and difficulty in Transformice lies heavily in its competitive scene for me. That, and adjusting how I play shaman rounds to make them more engaging (learning no-skills divine slowly! Very interesting so far).

Warrior cats

Does anyone still roleplay warrior cats on transformice com? Back when I was in 5th grade years ago I used to make or join warrior cat clans, on transformice. We would build clan camps with some having a tv added into it in order to share YouTube videos to watch together for fun. We would roleplay and join rooms to play games. We would even create alliances with other clans and do four trees where all 4 clans would come together in a room and play and intermingle. We even had forums for our tribe in which we could share our OCs and play forum games.

Was wondering if anyone still did that?

Game down for anyone else right now?

I was gonna buy the Sylveon fur before it goes out of shop and grind more of the event between studying, but I can't log in. ^_^;

EDIT: I'm a doof. I completely blanked that I'm literally in the official Discord and can just go look there to see if anyone else is having this problem. My bad. On that note, turns out the game is getting hacked, maybe DDOS'd? So that's.. eventful.
