I have been looking for a Vz-58 for over 6 years now and I finally found one that wasn’t gunbroker pricing and I got enough mags to last a life time. Now only thing I need to do is get the ammo to fill them all lmao.

Most of y'all don't know me, and most that do recognize my username will probably only know me for arguing about guns and telling horrible jokes in the comments. Some of y'all will know who I am, though. I've met some of y'all in person, which was awesome.
Anyways, I had started writing a series of articles about the fecal matter and its proximity to the air redistribution mechanism in our current political climes, informed by my own experience as a veteran who was deployed three times to Iraq and elsewhere in a combat MOS. I've also been into prepping and survivalism since I was a teenager deep in the long-forgotten mists of the late nineteen hundreds.
Some of the stuff I wrote... Well, I don't really want it getting out there. But the parts I wrote that aren't so delicate, I got no problem sharing, so I put them on my blog, where anyone can access them, and I figured I'd share them here for all of y'all.
Now that I've been reminded by seeing someone else post a guide to setting up a rifle, I'll likely get to the posts I promised about future topics.

I actually brought this home several weeks ago, but have managed to miss posting it to reddit every Wednesday since then, up until now.
New Colt Python, .357 Magnum, 5" matte stainless steel. Original Hogue grips since replaced with walnut target grips.
I've only had her out to the range once, but she's big enough that firing full steam .357 wasn't a problem at all. Even without the Hogue rubber, the recoil didn't feel much worse than my subcompact 9mm.

I'm new to gun ownership, and the only place nearish me to shoot is not the best environment. It's not as bad as it could be, fortunately, but the guys sitting around chatting and watching in trump hats make me uncomfortable. I was hoping to make friends who might be more familiar with the general area, I guess. I'm not sure if this is a good idea. I'm not hoping to meet up or anything, just chat sometimes.

So I finally saved up enough and was lucky enough to find someone who still has this around for sale. The tubes are awesome. But it didn't come with any user manual, how do I turn on the COTM? There's a bunch of buttons and dials that I have no idea what they do

After seeing the post apocalyptic VZ61 build done by u/mcweaponry and coming to the realization that just because I’m trans does not mean that I can’t enjoy firearms I decided to get back to work doing what I enjoy.
10mm Kriss Vector with the Duality Arms Mamba Trigger.
Right off the bat first impressions, most fun gun I've ever shot. Slaps you in the face tho, my cheek is still red amd tender. Second, I chose the Mamba over the Ratlr because of reliability. Searched around the web and seems like the RATLR is more finicky with how much pressure is used to reset the trigger but with the Mamba I can yank that trigger and be fine. Only issue i had was I wasnt putting enough pressure on the trigger sometimes. But I bet with more training I cam muscle memory the sweet spot. So I definitely recommend the 2 position over the 3 position. Instal was a little hard, you have to strip the whole FCU and the trigger sear pin was on there TIGHT. But considering I didnt have a punch set and just used my screw driver and Allen Key set, think it was pretty straight forward.
Very predictable burst, only reason I dont have many mag dumps is because the mags suck to load and this thing burns through 33 rounds in sub 2 seconds, think i counted 1105 RPM, which can go faster if I put the spacers in the slider assembly. All in all, fun build. Worth the wait, but my Sig MSR dot kept failing and I need a new optic anyway so.
And for the question I know everyone is asking, yes the super v system works. Still need to train with it to really get it down but for how fast this thing shoots, the recoil should be a lot worse but you can definitely get burst on target.
