I used to use before I moved here. Since then, I took a long break because I was focused on work—the real hustle and the grind.

Last weekend, I tried a little. I was a heavy user throughout my college years (2021–2024), barely taking any breaks except for a few days here and there. Even then, I could never get close to the level of high I experienced when I first started.

This time, though, after such a long break, I used way less than I used to, yet I reached the heights I couldn’t before. It reconnected me with parts of me I’d been neglecting while chasing my goals. I always knew those parts were there, but I hadn’t really thought about them or worked on them.

I realized how far I’ve come without even noticing. The things I used to dream about have become part of my everyday life, and I hadn’t taken the time to appreciate them.

It made me realize it feels more like a reward than a habit. Something to enjoy after putting in the work toward your goals.

So, kudos to everyone who’s taking a break, whatever the reason. You’re doing great. And if you’ve been using consistently and feel burnt out, try taking a break—even if it’s just for a month or two. You might be surprised by the difference.

Kanina ko pa kasi iniisip 'to after Morning Glory. Pansin ko kasi, pag galing atin or "loks", konting pagpag mo lang sa garapon, bagsakan lahat ng mga seeds, pero kapag import or "shuk", wala, all buds, no seeds. Any idea why local landraces burst out an ungodly amount of seeds?
