**PLEASE READ**

An issue was introduced by Steam in the July client update. Now, Steam may fail to download a workshop update until it is manually initiated by the player. This recently happened to a user trying to play the new Genosha update to Hearts of Marvel. It remains unclear how widespread this issue is or how long it might take Steam to fix it.

This issue can be fixed by unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod.

This is unfortunately a Steam problem. I cannot keep this from affecting you.

Out of an abundance of caution please unsubscribe and resubscribe to the following mods which have been updated since then:

Hearts of Marvel

DC Universe

Superman: Red Son

Books of Magic

The rest of my mods should be unaffected. Please spread the word about this issue.

**Sneak Peak** Genosha/Path of X - Hearts of Marvel

Here is a look at the X-Men content coming to Genosha in Hearts of Marvel!

At the start of the game, the Mutant rebellion in Genosha suffers a major defeat and must go into hiding. If the path of X is chosen, Charles Xavier becomes the face of the rebellion and eventually defeats Genosha's colonial overlords as only he could. Xavier secretly hosts Robbie Robertson of the Daily Bugle, telling the world about the atrocities on Genosha, garnering international sympathy. He also uses his powers of telepathy to cause disarray among Genosha's overlords. Eventually the unsustainable situation will result in the United Kingdom relinquishing control of Genosha with limited need for violence.

Once in power, Charles may establish the Xavier Institute for Gifted Mutants. This will grant the player the original X-Men team of Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Angel, and Beast. With the help of Beast, Charles can build Cerebro, which allows for more X-Men to be recruited for a total of 14 (including Professor X).

In the case of Wolverine and Sunfire, Charles must build Cerebro AND the mutants must be discovered by their native country. Once both have happened, the player may approach Canada and Japan to recruit Wolverine and Sunfire to the X-Men. Approaching those countries will send them an event in which they can accept or decline to lend their Mutants to Genosha. The AI will always accept the players request, but in the event of a multiplayer game, a human controlled Canada or Japan may refuse Genosha's request. If the player is playing as Canada or Japan, AI Genosha will not ask them for Wolverine and Sunfire.

At the end of the Path of X branch, Genosha may stay neutral, adopt Communism, or adopt Democracy. Charles will stay the country leader regardless.

Also, not pictured but the generic focus tree naval branch has been imported to the Genosha focus tree. Once Mutants are in power, there is also another focus branch that will allow Genosha to quickly occupy neighboring islands, eventually leading to a showdown with Madripoor.

Hoping to have this fully finished in 1-2 weeks. The next sneak peak will cover Magneto and the Path of Brotherhood. Stay tuned!
