I don’t know if this actually needs the warning but juuust in case 🤣

Since I’m more recently (last few months) understanding and learning more about opossums, I’ve been very observant of the things I notice of the little ones that visit my porch each night. They first started showing up in late winter, and have been coming by very frequently since. Last night I noticed this one has something back behind their legs- the answer might be obvious, but I just wanna be certain! Are those what I think they are? 👀😂 there’s another opossum almost twice as big as this one, but what I think are the second opossum’s testicles are like half the size of this one’s (if this is this one’s testicles LOL)

My first post on here called this opossum “Eve”- and I wanna say that even if this is a boy, Eve is still the name. 😝 This is the first opossum I ever saw visiting so that’s why they have that name. It’s stuck by now.

I read that they can retract their testicles when cold, so if that is what these are, I would guess that I hadn’t seen them until now because the opossums first came around during winter and it’s only recently started being warm again at night?

If those AREN’T little dangly bits then what the heck is that and do I need to be concerned lmao

Not to be crass, but it’s always cracked me up how the curtains match the drapes

White tips all around 🤍🧡
