Hello fellow Scandi friends,

Inter Turku will play Copenhagen on August 27 in football.

If anyone here is attending, I wanted to give them a heads up.

The venue Parken is normally great and easy to get to with public transport.

But on August 27 there will be a big company run in the park next to Parken and there will be a LOT of people going to and from Parken omn busses, trains etc.

There will be 30.000 people going to the DHL Run alone and Parken will be full too with 40.000 people. So it will be crazy and a lot of people on the streets. It´s safe, but just a lot of people, cars, bikes, busses etc.

So please be aware of this when you plan your jorney to the venue. It will be crazy.

If you want to ask anything about Copenhagen, the match or something else, please ask in r/fckoebenhavn as people will help you. Even if we loose in Turku:-)

I’m 21M, Portuguese, and I recently moved to Turku permanently. I’m hoping to meet some new people around my age, or older as well, and make some friends here.

A few of my current interests are basketball, reading about behavioral psychology, music production, video games (mostly CS2 and LoL), learning how to cook good food, and exploring Turku. I’m always interested in discovering new hobbies too, so I’m pretty open-minded when it comes to things to do.

Seuraavat speksit: asun kerrostalossa. Kaikki kaverit täälläpäin myös asuu kerrostaloissa. Kaverini joka tietää enemmän jousiammunnasta (harrasti lapsena) on opiskelija, ja hänelle 90€ vuosimaksu olisi iso raha.

Itselle tuo 90€ ei olisi ongelma, mutta en halua mennä yksin. Sekään ei käy että maksaisin kaverin puolesta, ei halua että maksan hänet.

Meillä on kummallakin ennestään jouset ja nuolia. Mutta ei paikkaa missä ampua.

Jouskarin kanssahan ei voi leikkiä missä vaan, julksella paikalla ei saa edes kuljettaa, ja autoonkin pitäisi mielellään laittaa piiloon.

Jos olisi joku kaveri jolla omakotitalo isolla pihalla, olisi asia helppo, sinne vaan. Mutta kun ei tunneta lähistöltä ketään riittävän isolla pihalla.

Mietin itse että jos menisi jonnekin sorakuopalle tai muualle metsään ja varovasti vähän ampuisi niin olisiko se niin paha?

Vai onko tosiaan niin että mitään muuta tapaa kuin seuran jäsenyys ei ole?

Moi! Alkuperänen vuosipäivän suunnitelma flowparkiin menosta peruuntui, ja nyt on ideat aika vähissä. Kyseessä ensimmäinen vuosipäivä, ollaan menossa syömään joka tapauksessa mutta haluttaisiin myös jotain "tekemistäkin" korvaamaan flowpark. :) Minigolf on kokeiltu eikä mieluusti mentäis leffaan tai keilaamaan.

Hi, I have been suffering with excruciating, destructive and detestable, disgusting tooth pain for 4 days straight. Yesterday I took an appointment from varha and they gave me some emergency treatment but not a complete root canal. Since the pain go worse, I begged another appointment today and luckily I got it. This time they did remove the dead nerves, but they put a temporary filling so rough and weak that I think a single bite can dislodge it. My thesis defense is on 20th August. And I am already f**d up. Anyways, now the only part remaining is to fill the roots and put a permanent filling. They put a temporary filling for now, which I don't trust. I will be moving out of Finland and going to Estonia for my PhD. However, I am not sure what will be the situation in Estonia, the costs and everything, so I do need to get treated in Finland before I go to Estonia.

My residence permit will expire on 31st August. Please suggest me any good private clinics, or any other option that are not very expensive, and also who can give me the complete treatment at once. Most of the clinics here are so costly but I know that my insurance covers a certain amount of the dental costs. So I may be able to afford the economical options.

Onko kellään ideaa minkä merkkisiä yms VG Wokin soijasuikaleet ovat? Niin pirun hyviä että tekis mieli ostaa itselle ja kokkailla niistä jotain. VG Wokille noin muutenkin suositus, jos et ole vielä sattunut käymään.

Muutin juuri Turkuun ja nyt pitäisi löytää paikallinen josta löytää halvimman tuopin, sillä 20v opiskelijalla ei budjetti ole kovin korkea:D
