Re-face vs new kitchen

Re-facing a kitchen vs new kitchen

The house I've bought has a functional but dated kitchen. Its relatively small but I'm keen to perhaps re-face it with new tiles, new extractor fan and new cupboards/drawer fronts.

Is this worth doing? I can't see any other layout working apart from making the side where the fridge freezer is fully cupboarded and worktops with wall units but right now I dont have the money to do a whole new kitchen unless kitchens can be DIYed for relatively cheap.

At the moment its quite appliance heavy with a cooker, dishwasher and washing machine.
