🦎 2-Year-Old Female Argentinian Tegu Looking for the Right Home 🦎San Diego area!!

I’m looking to responsibly rehome my 2-year-old female Argentine Tegu. This is NOT a beginner reptile, and finding her the right home is much more important to me than simply finding her a new home.
She was originally listed to me as a Blue Flame Tegu, although as she has grown, she looks much more like a Black & White Argentine Tegu. I cannot guarantee her exact genetics or morph, so please keep that in mind.
She has never bitten, but she can be a little skittish. With patience, consistency, and time, I truly believe she will continue to become more comfortable and trusting with her person. ❤️
She needs a home that can provide:
🦎 A HUGE, properly set-up enclosure with appropriate heating and UVB/lighting
🥬 A species-appropriate, varied diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and live feeders such as dubia roaches
⏰ LOTS of time and attention — especially during the daytime, when she is most active and wants interaction
🏠 Ideally, someone who is home during the day and can dedicate regular time to her
🐊 Previous reptile/large lizard experience — she is absolutely NOT being rehomed to someone who has never owned reptiles
❤️ Someone patient who understands that trust takes time and is willing to work with her
We currently let her roam around the living room on weekends, but unfortunately, those are the only days I’m home during the daytime and able to give her the amount of attention and interaction she deserves.
She deserves someone who has the space, experience, time, and commitment to give her the life she needs.
💰 There will be a rehoming fee. I am not giving her away for free because I want to make sure she goes to someone who is serious about the commitment and prepared to provide the proper care.
Please do not message me if you are looking for your first reptile or if you don’t have the time/space for a tegu. I will be asking questions about your experience, enclosure, schedule, diet, and setup because finding her the right home is my #1 priority.
I am not looking to rush this. I want to find her a forever home with someone who genuinely understands tegus and is prepared for the commitment. 🖤
Serious and experienced reptile homes only, please. 🦎
