How hard Is It to find a job in the film industry in Ireland?

Hi, I'm a 22 year old from Italy, and I'm thinking about moving to Ireland to try and get a job in the film industry.

I've just graduated university in a film course and I've directed 3 independent short movies, so I have a bit of experience but unfortunately Italy is a very sick place for aspiring filmmakers.

I was thinking about attending the bife course for film&TV next year, so that I can build a stronger portfolio, but after that i'd like to start working instead of attending university again (as I already have a degree).

I'm willing to make a lot of sacrifices, as well as my family, who will support me financially too, so i'm not worried about trying, buy I was wondering if, in your experience, you think i could have a chance.

Also, do production companies usually hire people like me? I'm looking forward to submitting my movies to film festivals, but maybe being employed in the meantime would help me create a bigger network and work my way up the ladder.
