Foot still looks misaligned 9 months after ankle injury and rehab – normal?

Hi everyone. I injured my right ankle about 9 months ago (severe ankle sprain with ligament injuries and bone bruising, Talus) After the injury, I wore a walking boot for 6 weeks.

When I took the boot off, my foot already looked somewhat tilted/misaligned compared to my other foot. I’ve been doing rehabilitation for 7 months, but my foot still doesn’t look normal to me. (I didn’t have any surgery.)

I still cannot stand longer than about 30 minutes without significant pain in the sole of my foot. Standing and weight bearing make it worse. Walking and being on my feet are still difficult.

I attached photos because I’m wondering if anyone experienced something similar after a severe ankle sprain. Does my foot alignment look unusual, or could this happen after long immobilization and ligament injuries?

MRI showed ligament injuries and bone bruising after the original injury, and although some things improved, I still have pain and difficulty standing.

Any experiences or thoughts would be appreciated.
