For anyone who grew up before smartphones: what did you actually do while waiting somewhere?
Waiting rooms, the DMV, a friend running 40 minutes late, a long car ride. No phone to disappear into or even get a text letting you know your friend is still on the way. What did you genuinely do to kill the time?
