Update to AmEx Biz Plat $895 fee, throttled spend (within 1 week)
OK… I am now being removed by r/Amex mods too. Why?
Thought I’d make a quick update.
I initially posted in r/AmExPlatinum yesterday (over 12 hrs ago now) but my post was removed.
Then I posted in r/AmEx and crossposted to others.
You guys in r/AmEx were champs. All of you. Thank you!
I ended up closing the AmEx Biz Plat account last night.
r/Amexplatinum seems to have manually approved me during my evening. I woke up to many gracious comments there, but it was too late.
This is not a complaint post.
I want to know:
- Has anyone successfully escalated to executive offices? Who did you contact?
- Has anyone closed an account (themselves) but had it reinstated?
-Are there bureaus/ombudsman that provide support?
There has to be someone, somewhere, that can fix all of this.
I’ll go to a lower “prestige” card, but now I’m locked out of SUB offers. I don’t think that’s right.
