Long time lurker - first time caller - silver 4520v
I’ve got a fairly modest collection which includes a silver dial 4520v - wore it every day since I bought it, changing straps constantly - have 5-6 diff rubber coloured straps plus the leather and the bracelet. I increasingly found myself wearing it with a bracelet which stood out a little more (usually I’m a iykyk kinda guy which is why I preferred the VC over other brands - the build quality is much better vs the Rolex as well as I’m sure you are all aware). I was able to acquire a landdweller 40 in steel which I found a bit quirky at first but now love and wear more than the VC (I know that’s not the order my watch journey is supposed to go…!) I feel the 4520v is a bit too similar to the Rolex so pondering my choices. My other watch is a JLC deep sea chronograph.
I feel like I’m missing a bit of colour, but not sure I can justify a 2nd overseas (although the rose gold dual time is tempting me.. the budget doesn’t reach that far).
Does anyone know if VC will swap the dial for a blue ? I’m guessing zero chance but was curious…
Otherwise I guess I can go to a dealer and trade it in but I don’t mind the idea of holding the original pieces for sentimental reasons etc
Also keen to get some ideas on what I need to add !
