My Soloking JM40 deluxe
I made some upgrades 1) Fender pickups (Pure vintage 65') 2) Acrylic pickguard "high gloss" (from ETSY) 3) Kluson tremolo 4) Bensonite bridge (TOM ATOM mod) 5) Buzz stop (from Amazon) (Image retouched with Al to achieve the most realistic color of what my eyes see) In conclusion, I'm very, very sure that no other brand gives you what Soloking gives you for the price, although changing the pickups is almost mandatory on offset models. The bridge and tremolo aren't the best; I'm pretty sure that on their Stratocaster Telecaster models, that already comes with a Gotoh tremolo, the only thing left to do is change the pickups. You'll only see their flamed or roasted maple necks on guitars that cost 6 to 7 times as much. I hope to buy a Soloking MS1 Elite soon (their top high end guitar).
