Bressi Ranch housing project moves forward
The Carlsbad City Council voted Tuesday to continue processing a proposed 111-townhome development in Bressi Ranch near McClellan-Palomar Airport.
Residents raised concerns about traffic, parking, density and airport overflight impacts, while supporters argued the project would add lower-cost ownership housing and be a better use than another industrial building.
The city emphasized the vote was only to continue studying the proposal, not to approve construction.
