PD TEXTURE!
I've been dealing with PD since March 2026. Been on doxycycline (just tapered off due to severe constipation)and elidel (also tapered off its a temporary bandaid effect). I must admit my face was very bad and has come a long way but I only started to see real results after introducing sulfur soap. I started slowing introducing skin1004 azelaic acid on my forhead only since the rest of my face seems to be more sensitive. I went from 1 time a day to 2 times a day over the course of 5 weeks but this texture is actually all over face and forhead it wont budge. I still do get daily tiny pustules mainly around my chin and apples of cheeks, but they go away fairly quickly. I feel so stuck. I wanted to introduce azelaic acid to the rest of the face but at this point seeing as how they both look very similar, I'm not sure it would make any difference. It was ichy in the very beginning back in March and April but now there's no iching, no burning, no stinging, and not dry either. These pictures are after applying my moisturizer. I wash with vanicream daily facial cleanser and just switched to this moisturizer the Vanicream daily facial moisturizer last one was leaving me feeling tight. This bumpy texture was so much worse before so it has gotten better but this past month it's been stuck here. I have clindamycin lotion, ivermectin cream, cleversoap 0.5% piroctone olamine cream. I dont know if its fungal becuase i though it would have to ich, same with demodex no ichying or crawling feeling and the pustules are tiny and not in crops they are individual and not painful. Just haven't used anything else outside if my moisturizer, cleanser, sulfur soap, and azelaic acid on forhead. Anyhelp on this? Anyone had it be fungal or demodex with no iching? Please I'm desperate!!!
