okay so NIU is basically my dream school rn and i’m trying to figure out if i have a realistic chance at the Huskie Pledge
my situation:
FAFSA SAI: -1500
my mom makes around $25k/year
GPA: 3.7
Illinois resident
planning to be a full-time student
already got accepted to NIU
i’m also getting the $6k/year GPA scholarship
my family really can’t afford a lot out of pocket, so i’m hoping the pledge could cover most of what’s left after my other aid.
does anyone who actually got the Huskie Pledge know if i’d likely qualify with these numbers? and if you got it, how much did it end up covering for you?
i’m trying not to get my hopes up too much but if i could actually afford NIU because of this, that would literally be amazing.
