Where to Shop for Physical Media: North Chicago

I defer to the experts. Looking for some good suggestions for places to physical media, other than big box stores, in the North Chicago area. Possibly near the Old Irving Park Neighborhood, but surrounding areas is still appreciated. Welcome any recommendations.

Now Showing 05/15/26: Star Trek the Motion Picture

It’s a simple but beautiful looking steelbook. It’s a bit weird watching the 4K conversion. The upgrade scan makes the movie look more dated. Like watching a campy 1960’s sci-fi movie. Having said that it is a beautiful conversion. And still just as enjoyable.

Trying to Get Into the all Region Game.

So I would like to defer to the experts here. I would like to start collecting media from different regions. My current setup is a Sony Braiva 4K, and I’m using my Xbox Series X, for movie viewing. I have only 3 hdmi ports that are all taken. I would love to get a all region 4k player, but that’s not in the budget right now. So I’m thinking of just settling to get the Blu-ray player. Are these fairly decent for my purposes, or is there something better at an equal or lesser cost? Suggestions are highly welcomed.
