So I was notified on 9/26/24 that I was drawn in the lottery. I submitted my intake in sufficient time. I heard nothing for months. Then on February 4, 2025 I got a letter saying there's no funding and that I am SOL until there is. It's 2025 and I am still homeless. The most frustrating part is that I was at the top of the list for 2 subsidized housing properties in King County that I did not take because I was informed that I would be getting a PCHA Section 8 voucher and I didn't want to complicate things by having to move in and then move out. I wouldn't still be homeless if I took the opportunity offered by KCHA. I am super frustrated because there has been no movement. This sucks. Anyone else have a similar experience?
