Mounjaro is slowing becoming less effective for me. Can anyone relate? Female/70yrs,diabetic type 11, very well controlled. Low A1C. I have lost about 50lbs and eradicated my fatty liver and improved other labs by slowing titrating up to 10mg weekly over the last five years..
I happily have reversed my fatty liver, lowered my a1c, putting me into diabetic remission, so I'm told. I lost about 50 lbs and now have gained back six or so. My problem is not the weight gain but the super uncomfortable bloodsugar fluctuations I am starting to experience again. I get very shaky and bloodsugary on and off all day now and tremble an hour after a meal. Mounjaro eradicated this problem for my up until the last few months. Can our bodies adjust too well to the med? I'm on 10mg now for many years successfully and now I'm going backwards. Has anyone heard of this? Because my a1c is excellent as of my last test, doc is reluctant to up my dose. Any insights are appreciated.
